  • Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Not playing Saturday

Matinpalo (undisclosed) isn't expected to play against Seattle on Saturday

Matinpalo has been practicing, but he will miss his fifth straight game. He had been serving as a healthy scratch before the Olympics, so he may not return to the lineup once he is healthy. Matinpalo has four assists, 19 shots on goal, 33 blocked shots and 27 hits across 30 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Adds pair of helpers

Bourque logged two assists and two PIM in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

He started the game on the third line, but the injury to Roope Hintz (lower body) opened the door for Bourque to move back up to the top line. The 24-year-old Bourque has nine points over his last nine games, so he's certainly earned his extra ice time. He's at 12 goals, 15 helpers, 111 shots on net, 48 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 62 appearances. Given his place in a strong lineup, Bourque is worth a look in most fantasy formats.

  • Stars' Jason Robertson: Earns two more assists

Robertson notched two assists and three shots on goal in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

One of those helpers came on the power play. The 26-year-old winger has logged four straight multi-point outings with two goals and six assists in that span. Robertson is up to 34 goals, 40 assists, 220 shots on net, 31 power-play points and a plus-21 rating through 62 appearances in a top-line role this season.

  • Jamie Benn LW | DAL

Stars' Jamie Benn: Puts away goal Friday

Benn scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Benn has earned four points over five games since the Olympic break. The 36-year-old forward is up to 11 goals, 26 points, 53 shots on net, 56 hits, 27 PIM and a plus-12 rating across 40 appearances. He's been on the second line lately while the Stars are dealing with some injuries, though he may slip back to the third line now that Michael Bunting is in the fold.

  • Stars' Justin Hryckowian: One of each Friday

Hryckowian scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Hryckowian had been limited to two assists over his previous 11 games. The 25-year-old was pressed into a larger role Friday due to the early exit of Roope Hintz (lower body), who is out indefinitely. Hryckowian is still likely to be a third-line option moving forward, so he'll need to provide steadier offense to be a fantasy option. The center has nine goals, 12 helpers, 57 shots on net, 93 hits and 37 PIM through 61 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Collects two points Friday

Heiskanen scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Heiskanen snapped a 27-game goal drought with a tally to tie this contest at 1-1. He still had 21 helpers in that span, and he added another assist on a Wyatt Johnston goal. Heiskanen has enjoyed a bounce-back campaign with eight goals, 52 points (21 on the power play), 110 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 60 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Two points in shootout loss

Johnston scored a goal and added a power-play assist in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Avalanche.

Johnston picked up his fourth multi-point effort in his last five games. The 22-year-old has earned a power-play point in four of those games as well. Johnston is up to a career-high 34 goals with 33 assists, 163 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 62 appearances this season. He should get a continued look on the top line since Roope Hintz (lower body) is out indefinitely after getting hurt Friday.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Patrolling road crease Saturday

Sorokin was the first goalie off the ice during Saturday's morning skate, indicating he'll draw the road start against San Jose, per Max Miller of NHL.com.

Sorokin will look to bounce back Saturday after surrendering five goals to the Kings on Thursday. Overall, the 30-year-old netminder has been elite this season with a 22-14-2 record, a 2.54 GAA and a .913 save percentage across 38 appearances. The Sharks rank 18th in goals per game with 3.10 goals this season.

  • Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Battling illness

Lindgren is expected to be a game-time decision for Saturday's outing against Ottawa because of an illness, Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network.

Lindgren has two goals, nine points, 54 PIM, 35 hits and 96 blocks in 58 appearances in 2025-26. Adam Larsson is also questionable Saturday because of an illness, so the Kraken have multiple unknowns when it comes to their blue line. Josh Mahura and Cale Fleury will likely draw into the lineup if Lindgren and Larsson can't play.

  • Adam Larsson D | SEA

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Dealing with illness

Larsson (illness) will be a game-time decision against Ottawa on Saturday, per Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network.

With Larsson and Ryan Lindgren feeling under the weather, Cale Fleury and Josh Mahura could enter the lineup against the Senators. The 33-year-old Larsson has five goals, 19 points, 67 shots on net, 128 blocked shots and 82 hits across 61 appearances this season.
