  • Kraken's Frederick Gaudreau: Game-time call Saturday

Gaudreau will be a game-time decision for Saturday's match against Ottawa due to an illness, per Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network.

Gaudreau has four goals and 18 points in 48 outings in 2025-26. If he ends up being unavailable Saturday, then Ryan Winterton is likely to dress as a member of the fourth line.

  • Kings' Kenny Connors: Heads to minors

Connors was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Friday.

Connors has nine goals and 29 points in 49 appearances with Ontario in 2025-26. He also has no points, five shots, three hits and one block across two outings with Los Angeles this season.

  • Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Nets late equalizer

Nichushkin scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 5-4 shootout win over the Stars.

Nichushkin scored with 15 seconds left in regulation to tie the game. He ended a nine-game goal drought with the clutch tally, though he still picked up seven assists in that span. For the season, the 31-year-old winger is up to 13 goals, 37 points, 118 shots on net, 44 hits and a plus-5 rating over 52 appearances. Nichushkin is likely to continue seeing top-six minutes, though the Avalanche's addition of Nazem Kadri at the trade deadline gives them the potential to run three scoring lines.

  • Tyler Myers D | DAL

Stars' Tyler Myers: Active for Sunday

Myers (not injury related) will be in the lineup versus Chicago on Sunday, according to Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.

Myers was dealt to Dallas from Vancouver on Wednesday and sat out Friday's clash with Colorado. He had one goal and seven assists with 65 hits and 91 blocked shots in 57 games with the Canucks before the trade.

  • Roope Hintz LW | DAL

    Stars' Roope Hintz: Out indefinitely

Hintz (lower body) will be out for an extended period of time, Brien Rea of Victory+ reports Saturday.

Hintz sustained the injury in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to Colorado. He still has to meet with another doctor to determine how to proceed with his recovery, but head coach Glen Gulutzan is hopeful that Hintz could return before the start of the playoffs. The 29-year-old Hintz has 15 goals, 44 points, 126 shots on net and 59 hits across 53 appearances this season.

  • Oilers' Vasily Podkolzin: Tallies in loss

Podkolzin scored a goal on two shots and added five hits in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Podkolzin has scored twice over his last four games. The 24-year-old forward is filling a third-line role, which could make it hard to sustain a high level of offense, though he could get shuffled up to the second line at some point to give the Oilers a new look. Podkolzin has earned a career-high 28 points with 100 shots on net, 186 hits, 51 PIM, 32 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating over 63 outings this season, making him a decent depth winger in fantasy.

  • Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Trio of assists in Friday's win

Miller logged three assists, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 6-3 win over the Oilers.

Miller has six helpers over his last seven games. He could be poised for more power-play time if Shayne Gostisbehere (lower body) misses time after exiting Friday's contest. Miller has earned 28 points (three on the power play), 88 shots on net, 73 hits, 55 blocked shots, 42 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 54 outings this season. The 26-year-old carries decent all-around potential.

  • Nick Lardis LW | CHI

Blackhawks' Nick Lardis: Set to join Blackhawks

Lardis will be recalled from AHL Rockford, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports Saturday.

With head coach Jeff Blashill confirming that Drew Commesso and Nick Lardis will join the Blackhawks in Dallas on Sunday, an official call-up from the AHL is imminent for the latter. Lardis has thrived with Rockford this season, where he has 18 goals, 14 assists and 100 shots on net across 35 games. While he has just seven points across 21 games with Chicago this season, he'll have another chance to carve out a role in the majors following the trade deadline.

  • Hurricanes' Jordan Martinook: Buries goal in Friday's win

Martinook scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 6-3 win over the Oilers.

Martinook snapped a 16-game goal drought with the tally. He had six assists and 21 shots on net in that span. The 33-year-old winger is up to eight goals, 21 points, 81 shots on net, 94 hits, 38 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a plus-9 rating through 59 appearances. Martinook would need a strong finish to secure his fourth straight 30-point campaign.

  • Ryan Donato C | CHI

Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Scores early in loss

Donato scored a goal, added two PIM and logged two hits in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Canucks.

Donato scored 1:08 into the game, but the Canucks had the next three tallies. This ended a five-game point drought for the 29-year-old forward. After the Blackhawks' sell-off at the trade deadline, Donato is one of the team's elder forwards, but he'll likely be limited to bottom-six minutes as the team sees what some prospects can do. He has 14 goals, 26 points, 90 shots on net, 68 hits and 36 PIM over 62 appearances this season, a far cry from his 31-goal, 62-point campaign last year.
