Flames' Brennan Othmann: Flipped in trade
Othmann was traded to Calgary on Friday from the Rangers in a swap for Jacob Battaglia, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
Othmann has played in 17 games for the Rangers this year, garnering one goal, 13 shots and 40 hits while averaging 9:53 of ice time. The 23-year-old winger should get more opportunities at the NHL level down the stretch, assuming the Flames opt to bring him up from the minors.

Ginning was sent to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Moving Ginning to the minors maintains his eligibility for the AHL playoffs. Ginning has no points, two shots, four hits and five blocks in five appearances with the Flyers in 2025-26. He also has a goal, four points and 20 PIM in 31 outings with Lehigh Valley this season.

Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Won't play Saturday
Coyle will not be in the lineup against Utah on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Coyle is not expected to be sidelined long term and could return as early as Monday's matchup with the Kings. Over his last 11 contests, the Massachusetts native has produced six goals and 11 assists, including five multi-point performances.

The Jets traded several of their contributors ahead of Friday's deadline, so Lambert will rejoin the NHL club for the first time since mid-November. He's made 34 appearances with Manitoba this year, generating six goals, seven assists, 18 PIM and a minus-10 rating.

Barkey's demotion could be a temporary move to make him eligible for the AHL playoffs, so fantasy managers will want to monitor his status ahead of Saturday's clash with Pittsburgh. In his last 10 outings for the club, the 20-year-old center has managed just two points and nine shots.

Rosen was recalled from the minors Friday.
Rosen has 25 goals and 43 points in 37 outings with AHL Rochester in 2025-26. He also has three goals and seven points in 16 appearances with Buffalo in 2025-26. Winnipeg acquired Rosen from the Sabres on Thursday. The 22-year-old might have an opportunity to play regularly at the NHL level for the remainder of the campaign, especially with the Jets looking ahead to the future after being sellers in the trade market.
