  • Senators' Lucas Beckman: Secures another shutout

Beckman logged a 29-save shutout in QMJHL Chicoutimi's 4-0 win over Shawinigan on Thursday.

Beckman has five shutouts on the year, including three in his last six games. He's up to 14-15-3 on the year between Chicoutimi and Baie-Comeau. Beckman has added a 2.64 GAA and a .917 save percentage, and the Sagueneens continue to give him superb goal support.

  • Golden Knights' Mateo Nobert: Two of each Thursday

Nobert scored twice and added two assists in QMJHL Blainville-Boisbriand's 7-0 win over Baie-Comeau on Thursday.

Nobert has three goals and four assists over five contests in March. The Golden Knights prospect has matched his goal total from last season (28), but he's also enjoyed an uptick in playmaking with 48 assists for 76 points through 58 appearances this season. Nobert is still just 18 years old, so he should be able to elevate his offense further in 2026-27.

  • Austin Watson LW | DET

Red Wings' Austin Watson: Sent back down

Watson was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.

Watson served as extra emergency depth up front for the Red Wings but ultimately didn't need to suit up versus the Lightning on Thursday. If Detroit's injury issues persist, Watson would be a top candidate for another recall.

  • Red Wings' Eduards Tralmaks: Returned to AHL

Tralmarks was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.

The Red Wings ultimately had 12 healthy forwards to play versus the Lightning on Thursday, so Tralmarks' emergency recall is no longer necessary. It wouldn't be surprising for him to get another look with the big club at some point before the end of the campaign.

  • Lightning's Declan Carlile: Leaves game in third period

Carlile sustained an undisclosed injury in the third period of Thursday's game versus the Red Wings, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Carlile left the contest late in the game, so it's not surprising that head coach Jon Cooper didn't have a specific update after the contest. If Carlile misses more time beyond this, Steve Santini will likely draw back into the lineup.

  • Kevin Hayes RW | PIT

Penguins' Kevin Hayes: Not playing Thursday

Hayes (upper body) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Golden Knights.

Hayes is no lock to play even when healthy, so it may be tough to tell when he goes back to being a healthy scratch. His next chance to play is Saturday versus the Mammoth.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Slated to start Thursday

Daccord is expected to start at home against Colorado on Thursday, per Joe Pohoryles of Emerald City Spectrum.

Daccord has lost his past two starts while allowing 10 goals on 63 shots (.841 save percentage). He's 18-15-5 with a 2.86 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 38 outings in 2025-26. The Avalanche lead the league in goals per game with 3.78.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Guarding goal Thursday

Saros will protect the road goal versus the Canucks on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Saros is 2-2-0 with 11 goals allowed on 122 shots (.910 save percentage) over four games in March. The 30-year-old is set for a favorable matchup Thursday, as the Canucks are far and away the worst team in the NHL this season.

  • Senators' Samuel Bolduc: Involved in minor-league swap

Bolduc was acquired by Ottawa from Los Angeles in exchange for Jan Jenik.

Bolduc has five goals and 21 points in 56 outings with AHL Ontario in 2025-26. He's expected to report to AHL Belleville as a result of this trade.

  • Jan Jenik RW | OTT

Kings' Jan Jenik: Heading west in trade

Jenik was traded to the Kings from the Senators on Thursday in exchange for Samuel Bolduc.

Jenik is set to be a Group 6 unrestricted free agent after this season, since he will not have enough NHL games to be a restricted free agent. He is not eligible to play for the Kings for the rest of 2025-26 since this trade came after the NHL's trade deadline. Jenik will report to AHL Ontario after producing 17 points in 41 contests with AHL Belleville before the trade.
