Blackhawks' Andrew Mangiapane: Set to make team debut Friday
Mangiapane (not injury related) is available for Friday's game against Vancouver, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Mangiapane was traded to Chicago from Edmonton on Wednesday, but his status for Friday's matchup was in question due to his visa application. However, he'll officially be able to make his first appearance with his new team. The 29-year-old has made 52 appearances for the Oilers this year, recording seven goals, seven assists, 51 hits, 36 PIM and 19 blocked shots while averaging 12:36 of ice time.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Ready to rock
Teravainen (undisclosed) will be in the lineup Friday against the Canucks, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Teravainen was thought to be questionable after he tweaked a pre-existing injury at practice Thursday, but he has been cleared to play. Teravainen has 13 goals and 15 helpers in 54 contests this season, including three goals in his last two appearances.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Facing suspension
Malkin will have a hearing with the Department of Player Safety for slashing Buffalo's Rasmus Dahlin on Thursday.
At minimum, Malkin should be expected to miss at least one game, though it could certainly be longer. The veteran center was ejected from Thursday's contest, and Dahlin doesn't seem to have suffered any long-term injury, both of which could be factors in the league's decision. Regardless, Pittsburgh will likely have to face the Flyers on Saturday without its two biggest stars, Malkin and Sidney Crosby (lower body).

Nick Foligno LW | MIN
Wild's Nick Foligno: Off to Minnesota
Foligno was traded to Minnesota from Chicago on Friday for future considerations, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Foligno will join his brother Marcus Foligno with the Wild. Foligno leaves Chicago with three goals, eight assists, 87 hits and 26 blocked shots across 37 contests this season. He should see a bottom-six role with the Wild.

Walker Duehr RW | WPG
Jets' Walker Duehr: Sent down Friday
Duehr was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.
Duehr was called up by Winnipeg during the Olympic break, and he made three appearances with the Jets following the layoff. He was held without a point while recording 10 hits and two blocked shots, and he should have more consistent opportunities to contribute in the minors.

Isaak Phillips D | WPG
Jets' Isaak Phillips: Returns to AHL
Phillips was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.
Phillips was recalled Thursday and saw 12:10 of ice time in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay. Phillips has yet to pick up a point in three NHL games this season. The defenseman had five goals and 14 assists in 44 AHL games before his recall.

Alexis Gendron RW | PHI
Bruins' Alexis Gendron: Involved in minor-league swap
Gendron and Massimo Rizzo were traded to the Bruins from the Flyers on Friday in exchange for Brett Harrison and Jackson Edward.
Gendron hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he'll get a change of scenery in the AHL as part of a deal that exclusively involves minor leaguers. Across 47 appearances with Lehigh Valley this year, Gendron has recorded 10 goals, 12 assists, 44 PIM and a minus-10 rating.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Cleared to return for Friday's game
Hintz (illness) will return to action for Friday's game against Colorado, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.
Hintz missed the last four games while on injured reserve due to an illness, but he was trending toward a return ahead of Friday's matchup and has officially been given the green light to return. He recorded points in six of his eight appearances leading up to the Olympic break, logging a goal, seven assists, 11 hits, five blocked shots and four PIM while averaging 17:16 of ice time across that span.
