  • Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Moves to LTIR

Janmark (undisclosed) was moved to long-term injured reserve Monday.

The Oilers recalled Josh Samanski and Isaac Howard from AHL Bakersfield in corresponding moves. Janmark has missed the last two games and is out indefinitely due to a chronic injury. He has contributed one goal, seven assists, 24 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and 10 hits in 43 appearances this season.

  • Joel Armia RW | LA

Kings' Joel Armia: Unavailable for Monday's game

Armia (upper body) won't play in Monday's game against the Avalanche, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Armia will be unavailable for a second consecutive matchup after suffering his upper-body injury during Thursday's game against the Oilers. He underwent an MRI on Monday, and interim head coach D.J. Smith said that the Kings should know more about Armia's status soon. Samuel Helenius is slated to remain in the lineup against Colorado.

  • Kings' Drew Doughty: Won't play Monday

Doughty (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Avalanche, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Doughty suffered his lower-body injury Thursday against the Oilers, and he'll be unavailable for a second consecutive game. However, interim head coach D.J. Smith said ahead of Monday's matchup that Doughty could return Thursday against the Islanders or Saturday against the Canadiens.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Set to start versus Kings

Blackwood is expected to patrol the crease on the road against Los Angeles on Monday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Blackwood has given up two or fewer goals in four of his last five outings while posting a 3-2-0 record, 1.43 GAA and one shutout. With the 29-year-old Thunder Bay native playing this well, Scott Wedgewood may be hard-pressed to steal some starts away -- though a back-to-back should see Wedgewood get the nod on the road against the Ducks on Tuesday.

  • Trevor Moore LW | LA

    Kings' Trevor Moore: Unavailable Monday

Moore (illness) won't play against Colorado on Monday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

The Kings host the Islanders on Thursday, which will provide Moore with some additional time to recover. He has seven goals, 16 points, 87 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and 34 hits through 47 appearances this season. Due to Moore's absence, Kenny Connors will make his NHL debut against the Avalanche on Monday.

  • Oliver Moore C | CHI

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Adds assist in win

Moore posted an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Mammoth.

Moore put an end to an eight-game slump with his helper. The 21-year-old forward saw some middle-six minutes in January, but he was on the fourth line Sunday and will need to perform better to regain more ice time. He's at 17 points, 55 shots on net, 25 hits and a minus-16 rating over 48 appearances this season.

  • Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Pockets helper Sunday

Levshunov notched an assist, three shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Mammoth.

Levshunov was shut down before the Olympic break to work on fundamentals amid a slump. That point drought ended at 11 games when he helped out on a Landon Slaggert tally in the second period. Levshunov is at 22 points, 69 shots on net, 67 hits, 56 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a minus-29 rating through 55 appearances. He's an intriguing player given his power-play time, but there are risks to his game that could land him in the press box on occasion.

  • Blackhawks' Landon Slaggert: Pots goal Sunday

Slaggert scored a goal and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Mammoth.

Slaggert snapped a 10-game point drought with his second-period tally. The 23-year-old winger has been confined to a bottom-six role this season. He has matched his point total from last year (six) in 32 outings, adding 29 shots on net, 46 hits and 14 PIM.

  • Nick Foligno LW | MIN

Blackhawks' Nick Foligno: Scores in Sunday's win

Foligno scored a goal, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Mammoth.

Foligno ended a nine-game point drought with the tally, a span that also included two absences due to an undisclosed injury. The 38-year-old continues to fill a bottom-six role this season, so it's no surprise he has been limited on offense. He has three goals, 11 points, 29 shots on net, 27 PIM and 84 hits over 36 outings.

  • Canadiens' Joe Veleno: Absent from practice

Veleno (illness) didn't participate in Monday's practice, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet.

Veleno has been a healthy scratch in five of the last eight games. Even if he's healthy, he may not play against the Sharks on Tuesday. Veleno has earned two goals, four points, 45 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 119 hits across 49 appearances this season.
