Isaac Howard LW | EDM
Oilers' Isaac Howard: Loaned to Bakersfield
Howard was returned to AHL Bakersfield on Thursday.
Howard played one game during his recent call up, and was held off the scoresheet. He had two goals, three assists, 36 shots on goal and seven hits over 29 regular-season games in 2025-26. He has 22 goals and 25 assists in 45 AHL games this season.

Axel Sandin Pellikka D | DET
Red Wings' Axel Sandin-Pellikka: Heads to AHL
Sandin-Pellikka was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.
Sandin-Pellikka had seven goals and 21 points in 68 outings as a rookie with the Red Wings in 2025-26. Detroit's season is done after failing to make the playoffs, but Grand Rapids secured a postseason berth, so the 21-year-old defenseman will gain some more experience by playing for the minor-league squad.

Scott Sabourin RW | TB
Lightning's Scott Sabourin: Snags helper in loss
Sabourin notched an assist and two hits in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.
Sabourin ended a 12-game point drought with the helper, though he also missed 11 contests in that span, including some due to a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old could see some action in the playoffs, but he's far from a lock to be in the lineup. He has five points, 11 shots on net, 63 hits and 89 PIM over 26 regular-season outings, and he provides grit in a bottom-six role when he suits up.

Michael Brandsegg-Nygard RW | DET
Red Wings' Michael Brandsegg-Nygard: Heads to minors
Brandsegg-Nygard was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.
Brandsegg-Nygard finished the NHL regular season with an assist in 14 appearances with the Red Wings. He also has 20 goals and 44 points in 58 outings with Grand Rapids. The Red Winds fell short of the playoffs, but the Griffins won their division, so Brandsegg-Nygard will help them in their postseason run.

Corey Perry RW | TB
Lightning's Corey Perry: Pots goal Wednesday
Perry scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.
Perry ends the regular season at 17 goals, 37 points, 113 shots on net, 30 hits, 81 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 72 appearances between the Lightning and the Kings. That includes three points over his last five games. The 40-year-old veteran should be a regular in the Lightning's lineup during the playoffs.

Oliver Bjorkstrand RW | TB
Lightning's Oliver Bjorkstrand: Finds twine in loss
Bjorkstrand scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM, logged two hits and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.
Bjorkstrand has a point in each of the last two games. This tally ended his 18-game goal drought, a span in which he had just two assists, 21 shots on net and 27 hits. The 31-year-old was in a top-six role as the Lightning rested some veterans Wednesday, but he'll likely revert to a bottom-six spot for Game 1 versus the Canadiens on Sunday. Bjorkstrand ended the regular season with 12 goals, 32 points, 130 shots on net, 85 hits and a minus-14 rating over 80 appearances.

William Nylander RW | TOR
Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Ends year at 30-goal mark
Nylander scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Senators.
Nylander was hot to end the year, scoring four goals and adding two assists over the last three games. The surge got him to the 30-goal mark for the fifth year in a row and the sixth time in his 11-year career. He closed at 79 points, 156 shots on net and a minus-14 rating across 65 appearances, his lowest games-played total since the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign.

Dennis Hildeby G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dennis Hildeby: Falls to Senators in finale
Hildeby stopped 35 of 37 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Senators. The third goal was an empty-netter.
Hildeby had limited chances at the NHL level this season, going 5-7-4 with a 2.85 GAA and a .912 save percentage over 20 contests. The 24-year-old's path to the NHL isn't much clearer in the next two years since both Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz (groin) are under contract through at least 2027-28, though a trade could open a spot. Hildeby will likely head back to AHL Toronto for the Marlies' playoff run in the coming days.
