The previous record was eight. Lehkonen arrived at the Olympics on the heels of putting up 42 points, including 19 goals, in 55 games for the Avs this campaign. He's having a career year and is on pace to top 60 points for the first time in his 10-season NHL career.

Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Three-point game leads Finland

Kakko had two goals and an assist in Team Finland's 11-0 win over Team Italy at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 on Saturday.

His teammates were raving about Kakko after the game, reports Bill Price of NHL.com. "He made some awesome plays," teammate Olli Maatta said of Kakko. "And whenever he got chances, he made it count. So it's good to have a guy like that on your team when you know if he's going to get a chance, he's going to bury it." The 25-year-old Kakko went into the Winter Games with 21 points, including six goals, in 40 games with Seattle. He has struggled this season following a career-best 44 points (14 goals, 30 assists) in 79 games between the Rangers and Kraken in the 2024-25 campaign.

Senators' Mads Sogaard: Suffers injury Saturday

Sogaard (lower body) left midway through the third period of Denmark's 6-3 loss to Team USA on Saturday at the 2026 Olympics, per Shawn Roarke of NHL.com.

He stopped 32 of 37 shots before leaving the match. According to Mark Masters of TSN, Sogaard initially sustained the injury in the second period, and it got worse. Frederik Dichow entered the game and allowed America's sixth goal. It's unclear whether Sogaard will be an option for Denmark versus Latvia on Sunday. However, it wouldn't be surprising if Frederik Andersen got the start Sunday regardless of Sogaard's availability. Andersen got Saturday's game off after being in the net for Thursday's 3-1 loss to Germany.

Grubauer has given up five goals on 60 shots through two games in the tournament, and as the only netminder on the roster with NHL experience, the 34-year-old Kraken goalie could be back in the crease Sunday against the United States.

Girgensons picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Latvia's 4-3 win over Germany in Olympic round-robin action Saturday.
