Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Gets no help in loss
Markstrom stopped 23 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Blue Jackets, with the third goal being an empty-netter.
He was locked in a goaltending duel with Elvis Merzlikins through two periods, but Markstrom saw his shutout slip away when Dante Fabbro snuck a shot through traffic early in the final frame. Markstrom has found his feet since a nine-goal disaster against the Islanders on Jan. 6, and over his last eight starts he's gone 5-3-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .897 save percentage.

Brad Marchand LW | FLA
Panthers' Brad Marchand: Unavailable Wednesday
Marchand (undisclosed) won't play Wednesday versus Boston, per Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald.
Marchand is being denied the opportunity to face his former team by an injury that is keeping him on the shelf for a third consecutive game. He has 25 goals and 50 points in 45 outings this campaign. Marchand's final chance to get into a game before the Olympic break will come Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Sam Bennett C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Bennett: Set to play Wednesday
Bennett (upper body) is available for Wednesday's game against Boston, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Bennett exited Monday's game against the Sabres due to an upper-body injury, but he's been cleared to suit up for the Panthers' penultimate game before the Olympic break. Over 16 appearances since the start of the calendar year, Bennett has recorded six goals, seven assists, 22 PIM, 20 hits and six blocked shots while averaging 19:28 of ice time.

Anton Lundell C | FLA
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Slated to play Wednesday
Lundell (upper body) is expected back in the lineup against the Bruins on Wednesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Lundell is set to rejoin the lineup following a three-game stint on the shelf due to his upper-body problem. Prior to his absence, the 24-year-old forward was mired in a five-game goal drought during which he contributed one assist, 12 shots and eight hits while averaging 17:52 of ice time.

Dante Fabbro D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Pots winner in return
Fabbro scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over the Devils.
Making his return from a six-game absence due to a lower-body injury, Fabbro opened the scoring early in the third period by snapping a quick shot through traffic in front of Jacob Markstrom. Fabbro isn't known for his offensive production. Through 49 games this season, he has produced four goals, eight points, 83 blocked shots, 51 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-12 rating.

Mathieu Olivier C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Strikes twice in Tuesday's win
Olivier scored two goals in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Devils.
All the offense came in the third period, as Olivier added a couple of insurance tallies after Dante Fabbro had broken the ice. Olivier has lit the lamp four times in the last four contests to snap a 10-game point drought. The physical winger is showing that last season's offensive breakout was no fluke, collecting eight goals, 17 points, 155 hits, 62 PIM, 54 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 42 games this campaign.

Elvis Merzlikins G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Blanks Jersey for first shutout
Merzlikins turned aside all 24 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Devils.
It was the first shutout of the season for the 31-year-old netminder, and the 12th of his career. Merzlikins has won three straight starts and five of his last six, posting a sharp 2.03 GAA and .924 save percentage over that latter stretch. He has been making a push to wrest the starting job away from Jet Greaves.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Lights lamp twice in win
Jarvis scored two goals, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Ottawa.
Both tallies came in the second period to help Carolina surge out to a 3-1 lead. Jarvis has been locked in since returning from a rib injury in early January, producing six goals and 14 points, including three goals and five assists on the power play, in 14 games. He has reached the 25-goal mark for three straight regular seasons and has 43 points through 48 appearances this campaign.

Sebastian Aho LW | CAR
Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Three points in win over Ottawa
Aho scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.
His first-period goal was a bit of a fluke, as his centering pass deflected into the net off Jake Sanderson's skate, but Aho then helped set up a pair of Seth Jarvis tallies in the second frame. Aho's goal was his 20th of the season, and he's delivered five multi-point performances in the last 11 games, piling up three goals and 14 points over that stretch.
