  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Banks another win Tuesday

Bussi stopped 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.

The 27-year-old netminder continues to amaze, extending his win streak to six games. Through his first 26 NHL outings, Bussi has gone a stunning 22-3-1 with a 2.24 GAA and a .904 save percentage. While he doesn't qualify as a rookie and likely won't see enough work to challenge Terry Sawchuk's NHL record of 44 wins by a rookie, Bussi could challenge Corey Crawford's 33-win rookie year in the 2010-11 regular season.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Two-point effort Tuesday

Sanderson produced a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Carolina.

The blueliner's tally early in the third period tied the game at 3-3, but the Senators' comeback attempt stalled out. Sanderson has been surging toward the Olympic break, racking up three goals and 13 points, including a goal and four assists with the man advantage, in his last 11 games. Tuesday's goal was also his 11th in 56 outings this campaign, tying his career high from the 2024-25 regular season across 80 appearances.

  • Dylan Cozens C | OTT

Senators' Dylan Cozens: Two helpers in Tuesday's loss

Cozens picked up two power-play assists in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

The helpers came late in the second period and early in the third as Ottawa rallied from a 3-1 deficit before eventually falling short. Cozens has been impressive of late, collecting six goals and 12 points over the last 11 games, with exactly half of that production (three goals, three assists) coming on the power play.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to start Wednesday

Hellebuyck is slated to start Wednesday's home game against the Canadiens, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Hellebuyck has struggled to enter the win column over the past few weeks, going 1-3-3 with a 2.83 GAA and a .901 save percentage over his last seven starts. He'll attempt to right the ship in the Jets' final game before the Olympic break. Montreal ranks third in the league with 3.43 goals per game this season.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Senators' James Reimer: Comes up short in Carolina

Reimer made 14 saves in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

The veteran netminder hasn't looked like much of a solution between the pipes for the Senators. Reimer has given up four goals in four of his six starts since signing a one-year contract with Ottawa in mid-January. During that span, he has posted a 2-3-1 record, 3.22 GAA and .861 save percentage.

  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Won't play Wednesday

Necas (lower body) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Sharks, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Necas continues to deal with a lower-body injury and will be sidelined for a third consecutive game heading into the Olympic break. He's on the roster for Czechia for the upcoming Olympics, and he's expected to be good to go for the tournament, Bailey Curtis of DNVR Sports reports. Valeri Nichushkin should continue to see an increased role for the Avalanche during Wednesday's matchup.

  • Josh Doan RW | BUF

Sabres' Josh Doan: Strikes on power play in loss

Doan scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.

Doan has three goals and an assist over his last five games, and three of those four points have come on the power play. The 24-year-old winger is up to a total of 18 goals, 39 points, 120 shots on net, 52 hits and a minus-3 rating through 56 appearances. He's more than doubled his 19-point total from 51 games with Utah last season. Doan is a middle-six regular with a steady power-play role for the Sabres, and he's proving himself a valuable forward to have in most fantasy formats.

  • Lightning's Oliver Bjorkstrand: Scores with man advantage

Bjorkstrand scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Bjorkstrand has two goals in as many games to start February after scoring just once and adding four assists in all of January. The 30-year-old winger was bumped up to the second line Tuesday to help the Lightning navigate being down their top centers, Brayden Point (lower body) and Anthony Cirelli (undisclosed). With the goal, Bjorkstrand has 25 points (13 on the power play), 88 shots on net, 45 hits and a minus-9 rating over 54 appearances this season.

  • Tye Kartye LW | NYR

Kraken's Tye Kartye: Puts away goal in loss

Kartye scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Ducks.

Kartye has gotten to play more recently after Berkly Catton (upper body) was ruled out through the Olympic break. This tally ended an 18-game goal drought for Kartye, who had three assists and got scratched 16 times in that span. The fourth-liner has eight points, 28 shots on net, 96 hits, 21 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 39 appearances. He brings energy and physicality but can't be relied on for steady offense.

  • Jordan Eberle RW | SEA

Kraken's Jordan Eberle: Breaks up shutout bid

Eberle scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Ducks.

Eberle's tally with 4:29 left in the third period denied Lukas Dostal a shutout. Eberle saw a four-game point streak end in Vegas on Saturday, but he has three goals and four helpers over his last six outings as the Kraken's top line continues to hum along. The winger is up to 20 goals, 18 assists, 118 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-8 rating over 53 appearances this season.
