  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: Yields three goals in loss

Allen stopped 30 of 33 shots on net in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Senators.

Allen allowed just one goal across the first two periods before the Senators scored two goals against him in the third. With the loss, the 35-year-old netminder now holds a 12-13-1 record, a 2.68 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 27 appearances this season. Since the calendar flipped to 2026, the veteran netminder has struggled to find the win column with a 1-5-0 record over six starts. Allen is best left on waivers in fantasy until he can compile multiple wins in a row, which he hasn't done since mid-December. His next chance to bounce back is in Tuesday's home clash against the Blue Jackets.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Nets third goal since return

Gostisbehere scored a goal, recorded three shots on net and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Washington.

Despite having suited up for just nine games in January, Gostisbehere has been on fire, as he tallied his fifth goal of the month Saturday. With the twine finder, he is up to nine goals, 36 points, 79 shots on net and 44 blocked shots across 37 games this season. Not only is the 32-year-old blueliner on pace to surpass his 45-point output across 70 regular-season games a year ago, but he's also tracking towards his third-best shooting percentage, as he currently has scored on 10.5 percent of his shots on goal this season. When healthy, he is an elite fantasy option from the blue line, and he should continue to play a busy role for the Hurricanes with the man advantage.

  • Evan Gardner G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Evan Gardner: Earns another shutout

Gardner posted a 29-save shutout in WHL Saskatoon's 4-0 win over Prince Albert on Saturday.

Gardner was the great equalizer against one of the WHL's top teams, earning his third shutout of the campaign and the 10th of his junior career. The 20-year-old goalie is 19-10-2 with a 2.70 GAA and a .909 save percentage over 36 outings this season. Based on his performances this year, Gardner looks ready to be an AHL regular in 2026-27.

  • Sebastian Aho LW | CAR

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Lights lamp in loss

Aho scored a goal and placed two shots on net in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Capitals.

Aho netted an unassisted tally near the end of the first period to extend Carolina's early lead. With the twine finder, he is up to 18 goals, 53 points, 121 shots on net and 49 hits across 54 games this season. The 28-year-old center has hovered around the point-per-game mark for the majority of the season and has a strong chance to post his fifth campaign above a point per game at his current rate of scoring. He remains a high-level fantasy option while skating atop Carolina's center depth chart at even strength and on the power play.

  • Kings' Jimmy Lombardi: Contributes three points

Lombardi scored two goals and added an assist in OHL Flint's 6-3 win over Sarnia on Saturday.

Lombardi has been dominant for the Firebirds this season with 28 goals and 53 points over 47 appearances. He's already well beyond his 45-point performance in 63 regular-season games from last year. The Kings signed Lombardi to an entry-level deal in December, and he's earned 12 points in 14 contests since putting pen to paper with his NHL club.

  • Jesse Nurmi LW | NYI

Islanders' Jesse Nurmi: Four-point game for London

Nurmi scored three goals and added an assist in OHL London's 6-1 win over Erie on Saturday.

Nurmi is now at eight goals and seven assists, along with a plus-8 rating, over 12 appearances for the Knights. The Finnish winger has quickly gotten his game on track in the OHL after struggling to the tune of two points in 12 games for ECHL Worcester. The 20-year-old will likely be expected to make the jump to the AHL in 2026-27.

  • Will Smith C | SJ

Sharks' Will Smith: Four-game, seven-point streak

Smith scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Calgary. He fired five shots.

Smith is on a four-game, seven-point streak (two goals, five assists; 12 shots). Saturday's goal came on the power play. Smith's ascension toward stardom continues. He has 38 points (16 goals, 22 assists) in 40 games this season, and he has already equaled his power-play production (five goals, 12 points) from 2024-25 in 34 fewer games. Last season, Smith delivered 45 points (18 goals, 27 assists) in 74 games.

  • Flyers' Christian Kyrou: Collects three points in AHL win

Kyrou scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Lehigh Valley's 5-3 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.

Kyrou has earned 22 points over 33 contests with the Phantoms since he was flipped in a minor-league trade with Texas in October. He's one point shy of matching his rookie-year total, which he earned in 57 regular-season games in 2023-24 with Texas. Kyrou hasn't gotten an NHL look yet, but the Flyers could give him a chance later in the season.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Five-game win streak snapped

Nedeljkovic made 39 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Flames on Saturday.

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Nedeljkovic, who had allowed just 10 goals on 144 shots on the streak. He continues to outshine Yaroslav Askarov, who was 2-3-1 with an .856 save percentage in seven outings in January. Nedeljkovic went 5-2-0 with a .916 save percentage in seven appearances in January. The Sharks may start to lean more on Nedeljkovic, as the team is only one point out of third place in the Pacific Division and one point away from a wild-card spot. Wins are going to matter a lot more very soon.

  • Blue Jackets' Brendan Gaunce: Posts three points in AHL win

Gaunce scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Cleveland's 6-5 overtime win over Belleville on Saturday.

Gaunce has six goals and four helpers over 14 AHL outings this season. This was just his second game back with Cleveland after spending over two months in the Blue Jackets' bottom six. He'll likely be near the top of the list for a recall if the team sustains future injuries at forward.
