Eric Comrie will get the start instead. Hellebuyck has a 13-15-6 record, 2.71 GAA and .902 save percentage in 34 appearances in 2025-26. It wouldn't be surprising if Hellebuyck gets back between the pipes Monday in Dallas.

Terry still needs to be taken off injured reserve before he can draw back into the lineup. However, he is projected to serve on the second line and second power-play unit if he does return Sunday. Terry has 13 goals and 42 points in 43 outings in 2025-26.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Slated to be game-time call

McTavish (upper body) participated in Saturday's practice and will probably be a game-time decision against Vegas on Sunday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

McTavish said he felt good after Saturday's session, but he needs to be cleared by the medical staff. He has missed the last five games. McTavish has 13 goals, 30 points, 103 shots on net and 54 hits across 49 appearances this season.

Malkin didn't participate in Friday's practice, but he didn't end up missing any games due to the injury. He has 13 goals and 41 points in 37 outings in 2025-26. Malkin will attempt to extend his four-game scoring streak (three goals, three assists) Saturday.

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Probable for Sunday

Hedman (elbow) is likely to make his return Sunday versus Boston, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Hedman hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 9, but head coach Jon Cooper told reporters Saturday, "Barring him coming in and saying no, which I think is extremely doubtful, he'll most likely be in tomorrow." Hedman does still need to be activated off injured reserve before he can return to the lineup. Should he play Sunday, it will likely be as a member of the top four and first power-play unit. That might result in Darren Raddysh shifting from the top power-play unit to the second grouping, but the 29-year-old has been productive in his current role, providing eight goals and 17 points with the man advantage in 46 outings this season.

  • Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Poised to start
