Mathieu Olivier C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Secures pair of points
Olivier scored an empty-net goal on two shots, added an assist, went plus-2 and logged three hits in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Flyers.
Olivier earned his first multi-point effort since Nov. 13 versus the Oilers. The winger has just four points across 13 outings in January while seeing consistent time on the third line. For the season, he's up to five goals, 13 points, 49 shots on net, 145 hits, 62 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 39 contests. He's unlikely to match his 32-point output from 2024-25, but he should be able to top the 20-point mark if he stays healthy.

Charlie Coyle C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Goal, assist in win
Coyle scored a goal, dished an assist and added two hits in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Flyers.
Coyle was honored in a pregame ceremony for reaching 1,000 career appearances last week, and he celebrated by scoring just 38 seconds into the game. The 33-year-old is locked in right now with six goals and four helpers over his last eight outings. For the season, Coyle has 12 goals, 23 assists, 85 shots on net, 71 hits, 33 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 52 appearances in a middle-six role.

Elvis Merzlikins G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Gets win over Flyers
Merzlikins stopped 24 of 27 shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Flyers.
Merzlikins was originally scheduled to start Monday versus the Kings before that game was postponed due to severe winter weather. The extra time off didn't hurt Merzlikins, as he picked up his third win in four outings despite giving up a hat trick to Travis Konecny in this contest. Merzlikins is now 9-8-1 with a 3.76 GAA and an .882 save percentage over 19 starts this season. The Blue Jackets have a road back-to-back up next with games in Chicago on Friday and St. Louis on Saturday. Expect Merzlikins and Jet Greaves to split those starts.

Taylor Raddysh RW | NYR
Rangers' Taylor Raddysh: Nets goal in loss
Raddysh scored a goal in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Raddysh ended a 14-game goal drought, a span in which he logged just one assist. The 27-year-old is likely to remain firmly in a bottom-six role even as the Rangers begin selling off some veteran forwards -- Artemi Panarin didn't play in Wednesday's game for asset protection. Raddysh is at eight goals, 13 points, 40 shots on net, 43 hits and 25 blocked shots through 51 appearances this season, and even a move to the top six wouldn't dramatically increase his value in fantasy.

Mika Zibanejad C | NYR
Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Strikes on power play in loss
Zibanejad scored a power-play goal on two shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Zibanejad's cooled off from his frenetic pace earlier in January, but he's still earned 10 goals and 10 assists while getting on the scoresheet in 11 of 12 games this month. For the season, the 32-year-old is up to the 50-point mark, including 20 on the power play. He has 22 goals, 28 helpers, 145 shots on net, 75 hits, 34 blocked shots and a minus-18 rating over 53 appearances.

Spencer Martin G | NYR
Rangers' Spencer Martin: Yields five goals in loss
Martin stopped 31 of 36 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Martin took his third straight loss, a span in which he's given up 12 goals on 93 shots. The 30-year-old has been alternating starts with Jonathan Quick lately, but neither goalie has posted many positive results during the absence of Igor Shesterkin (lower body). Martin is now 1-3-0 over six appearances, allowing a total of 20 goals on 147 shots (.864 save percentage). The Rangers are at home Thursday for a rematch with the Islanders, which will likely see Quick get the nod.

Marc Gatcomb C | NYI
Islanders' Marc Gatcomb: Posts helper
Gatcomb logged an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Gatcomb looked to be slipping into a part-time role last week, but he's retaken a fourth-line spot over Calum Ritchie (lower body) in the past two games. The 26-year-old Gatcomb ended an 18-game point drought with his helper in Wednesday's win. He's produced just three points with 30 shots on net, 108 hits and a plus-1 rating over 24 outings, so he doesn't need to be rostered in most fantasy formats.

Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Notches power-play assist
Horvat recorded a power-play assist and four PIM in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Horvat picked up his first point in three games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The 30-year-old center has held onto a top-six role with power-play time. However, he may need time to get back up to speed after missing a total of 14 contests over two absences due to lower-body issues. For the season, Horvat has 21 goals, 13 helpers, 128 shots on net, 30 hits, 36 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 39 appearances.

Emil Heineman LW | NYI
Islanders' Emil Heineman: Tacks on goal in win
Heineman scored a goal on four shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Heineman ended a six-game slump with the tally. The 24-year-old winger has gotten on the scoresheet in just three of 13 contests in January, though two of those instances have been multi-point efforts. He's up to 15 goals, 23 points, 117 shots on net, 170 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 53 appearances. Heineman hasn't always been consistent on offense, but he's supplying a steady stream of hits and shots in a middle-six role.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Pots power-play goal
Barzal scored a power-play goal on five shots and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Barzal has now scored in back-to-back games, though he has just three goals to go with 11 assists over 13 contests in January. The center has a power-play point in five of the last seven games. He's up to a total of 13 goals, 44 points, 114 shots on net, 41 PIM, 35 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 52 appearances in a top-six role.
