Canzone went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.
Canzone restored a one-run lead for the Mariners in the bottom of the sixth inning. He has gone deep in three of his last four games and has a total of six extra-base hits over his last eight contests. For the season, he's batting .250 with an .826 OPS, seven homers, 23 RBI, 18 runs scored, 10 doubles and a stolen base across 141 plate appearances in a strong-side platoon role.

Canzone logged his first multi-hit game since April 29 versus the Twins and has homered twice over his last three contests. Canzone set a career high with five RBI in this contest. He hit the grand slam in the fourth inning to blow the game open for the Mariners, and he added the sac fly as icing in the ninth. This may be the jump start he needs to get back on track -- even with this effort, he's just 3-for-19 with a 3:6 BB:K over 10 games in May. Canzone went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs Thursday in an Opening Day loss to the Guardians.
All four of Seattle's runs in the game came on solo homers, and Canzone was responsible for two of those. He took Tanner Bibee (shoulder) deep in the second inning and added a 444-foot shot off Shawn Armstrong in the seventh. Canzone belted 11 home runs across 268 regular-season plate appearances last season, so he has the potential to be a decent source of power. He started at DH on Thursday and should also log time in the outfield, potentially giving him enough playing time to be worth a look in most fantasy leagues.

Canzone made an immediate impact in his first Cactus League action since Feb. 28.
