Kings' Malik Monk: Won't suit up against Nets
Monk (shoulder) is listed as out ahead of Sunday's game in Brooklyn.
Monk started in each of the Kings' last three contests, most recently finishing with 10 points, two rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 27 minutes in Saturday's 123-113 loss to Atlanta. However, he won't suit up Sunday due to a right-shoulder contusion. With DeMar DeRozan (hamstring) and several other players also ruled out, DaQuan Jeffries, Nique Clifford, Daeqwon Plowden and Killian Hayes should all see more action, with two of them possibly moving into the starting lineup.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Won't play Sunday
DeRozan (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game in Brooklyn.
DeRozan had 22 points across 30 minutes in Saturday's 123-113 loss to Atlanta. However, the veteran won't be available versus Brooklyn due to hamstring soreness. With Malik Monk (shoulder) also out, among several others, Killian Hayes, DaQuan Jeffries, Nique Clifford and Daeqwon Plowden should all receive more minutes, with two of those players potentially moving into the starting lineup.

Kings' Nique Clifford: Struggles in return
Clifford finished Saturday's 123-113 loss to the Hawks with three points (1-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds and one block over 23 minutes.
Clifford was given the green light to return from a two-game absence due to a left mid-foot sprain. He came off the bench in his return but struggled from the field, missing all but one of his 11 attempts from the field. The rookie first-rounder has scored in single digits in back-to-back outings, but he showed promise during a 10-game stretch from Feb. 26 to March 17, during which he averaged 13.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.5 steals over 34.9 minutes per game. Clifford should see plenty of playing time down the stretch since the Kings are eliminated from postseason play.

Kings' DaQuan Jeffries: Strong showing off bench
Jeffries posted 15 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes during the Kings' 123-113 loss to the Hawks on Saturday.
Jeffries gave the Kings a bit of a spark with 12 points in the second half (including seven in the fourth quarter) to lead the bench in scoring and the team with a plus-eight point differential. It was his second outing with Sacramento after signing a 10-day hardship contract Thursday, and the Tulsa product should continue to see meaningful playing time off the bench given the plethora of Kings players sidelined due to injury.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Team-high 22 points in loss
DeRozan finished Saturday's 123-113 loss to Atlanta with 22 points (9-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes.
Saturday marked the second game in a row that DeRozan led the Kings in scoring while connecting on 50.0 percent of his field-goal attempts. The veteran forward is averaging 18.5 points per game this season, which is his lowest mark since the 2012-13 season with the Raptors (18.1 points per game), though he's connecting on 49.5 percent of his field-goal attempts.

Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Double-doubles vs. Atlanta
Raynaud logged 18 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 10 rebounds and one steal over 30 minutes during the Kings' 123-113 loss to the Hawks on Saturday.
Raynaud scored seven of his 18 points in the first quarter and finished as the Kings' second-leading scorer behind DeMar DeRozan (22 points) while posting his 17th double-double of the season. It was the fourth time this season that Raynaud connected on at least two threes, with three of those games occurring within his last six outings. The rookie second-rounder has averaged 18.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 blocks over 33.1 minutes per game since March 1. Raynaud is establishing himself as a long-term piece for the Kings, which might give the franchise something to think about when it comes to the future of Domantas Sabonis (knee).

Kings' Nique Clifford: Not starting in return
Clifford won't start Saturday's game against the Hawks, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
The rookie first-rounder is available to return from a two-game absence due to a left mid-foot sprain, though Malik Monk will remain in the starting five. Over 46 appearances off the bench this season, Clifford has averaged 6.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19.7 minutes per contest.

Kings' Killian Hayes: Available versus Hawks
Hayes (finger) is listed as available for Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Hayes has dealt with a few injuries of late. His latest issue, left finger soreness, forced him to exit Thursday's 121-117 loss to Orlando. Hayes was initially listed as questionable heading into the matchup with Atlanta but will suit up, potentially leading to less work for Devin Carter.

Kings' Nique Clifford: Available versus Atlanta
Clifford (foot) is available to play in Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Clifford was anticipated to miss a week. However, the left mid-foot sprain caused him to miss only two games. The 24th overall pick in the 2025 Draft will presumably reclaim his spot in the starting lineup. With Killian Hayes (finger) also available, Malik Monk, Daeqwon Plowden and Devin Carter might see less work.

Kings' Nique Clifford: Questionable to face Atlanta
Clifford (foot) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
It was reported Monday that Clifford was expected to miss at least one week due to a left mid-foot sprain, though there's a chance he will return Saturday. If the rookie first-rounder is cleared to play, there would be fewer minutes available for guys like Daeqwon Plowden, Devin Carter and Malik Monk.

Kings' Killian Hayes: Iffy for Saturday
Hayes (finger) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Hayes is dealing with left finger soreness in the aftermath of Thursday's loss to the Magic. Devin Carter would be in a position to handle the top spot at point guard if Hayes cannot play Saturday.

Kings' Malik Monk: Fares well in loss
Monk finished Thursday's 121-117 loss to Orlando with 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 32 minutes.
With so many injuries in Sacramento, Monk started this contest and saw a healthy usage rate. Over his last four appearances, he's averaging 14.0 points, 7.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 2.5 three-pointers in 27.0 minutes per contest.

Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Leaves mark at both ends
Raynaud notched 10 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 39 minutes during Thursday's 121-117 loss to the Magic.
The rookie out of Stanford took a step back from his recent performances, and this was his lowest scoring output over his last five appearances. The big man is firmly entrenched as a starter since Domantas Sabonis (knee) is out for the season, and he's making the most of the opportunity. He has scored in double digits in all but two of his 18 games since the All-Star break while posting seven double-doubles in that span.

Kings' Devin Carter: Stuffs stat sheet
Carter accumulated 14 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Thursday's 121-117 loss to the Magic.
Carter was one of six Sacramento players who scored in double digits in this loss, and while he didn't fill the stat sheet, he found a way to contribute in four of the five major categories. Carter has scored at least 14 points in each of his last four appearances.

Kings' Daeqwon Plowden: Sets new season-high scoring mark
Plowden notched 23 points (8-12 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds across 35 minutes during Thursday's 121-117 loss to the Magic.
Plowden had established a season-high 22 points in the loss to the Hornets on Tuesday, and he surpassed that mark in the very next game. Even though the former Bowling Green standout is regularly coming off the bench, he's proven he belongs as a natural scorer in the NBA. Plowden has now scored in double digits in nine games in a row (two starts) and has also reached the 20-point plateau in each of the last three.
