Kings' Precious Achiuwa: Good to go
Achiuwa (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against Toronto.
Achiuwa was tabbed questionable ahead of Wednesday's game due to ankle soreness, but he's been upgraded to available. The forward has logged 22 and 18 minutes over the last two games, respectively, but he could see a bump in minutes Wednesday night due to the absence of Domantas Sabonis (knee).

Kings' Precious Achiuwa: Questionable with ankle soreness
Achiuwa is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors with right ankle soreness.
The Kings could take a cautious approach with Achiuwa, considering Wednesday is their second game in as many days. With Domantas Sabonis resting against Toronto, Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell could be in line to share the minutes at center.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Getting Wednesday off
Sabonis won't play Wednesday against the Raptors due to left knee injury maintenance.
Following a recent 27-game absence due to a partial meniscus tear in his left knee, Sabonis had suited up for each of the Kings' last three tilts. According to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, head coach Doug Christie said prior to Tuesday's 130-117 loss to the Heat that Sabonis hasn't been operating with a minutes restriction since returning, but the big man has nonetheless been used off the bench in each of those three appearances and has played no more than 21 minutes on any occasion. The Kings will now hold Sabonis out for the second leg of a back-to-back set, which seemingly refutes the notion that he's free of restrictions coming back from the injury. With Sabonis sidelined Wednesday, Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell should cover all the available minutes at center, and starting power forward Precious Achiuwa (ankle) may see his playing time trend back up if he's able to shed his questionable tag.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Productive campaign continues
Westbrook ended Tuesday's 130-117 loss to the Heat with 22 points (9-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals across 31 minutes.
Westbrook continued his productive ways Tuesday, having now scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games. The veteran point guard has averaged 18.1 points, 6.7 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 32.1 minutes per contest across 11 games this month.

Kings' Nique Clifford: Another quiet showing
Clifford contributed nine points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 130-117 loss to Miami.
With Zach LaVine now healthy, Clifford's path to fantasy relevance remains blocked by a healthy Kings backcourt. The rookie swingman has averaged 4.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 18.2 minutes per contest across 11 games in January.

Kings' Zach LaVine: Hits for 18 points in loss
LaVine provided 18 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and five assists across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 130-117 loss to the Heat.
LaVine's numbers have been lower since his return from injury, but he's held a solid floor with no serious regression. He sank 70 percent of his shots during the loss, helping to pad a nine-game field-goal percentage of 49.6 percent. His shot volume has also been high since returning, averaging 13.0 attempts over the same nine-game span.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Grabs 10 rebounds in limited action
Sabonis chipped in six points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists across 17 minutes during Tuesday's 130-117 loss to the Heat.
The Kings are taking no chances with Sabonis, and his minutes will likely be capped for at least another week. Given the conservative route taken by the team, he might be a scratch during the second half of Sacramento's back-to-back set against Toronto on Wednesday. Maxime Raynaud continues to start for the Kings, but Dylan Cardwell has been more productive off the bench.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Pots team-high 23 points
DeRozan closed Tuesday's 130-117 loss to Miami with 23 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 10-10 FT), four rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes.
DeRozan did all he could, but he couldn't offset the lack of pop throughout Sacramento's roster. DeRozan has been the most consistent player in the starting lineup this month, but he needs more support around him to turn the tide for the struggling franchise. The Kings have been featuring Malik Monk heavily in hopes of finding a suitor, and that tactic could help the team out as the trade deadline nears.

Kings' Keon Ellis: Fades injury report
Ellis (knee) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Heat.
Ellis has missed the Kings' last two games due to left knee soreness, but his absence from the injury report indicates that he'll be available against Miami on Tuesday. He saw his minutes fluctuate prior to his injury, but his return would likely result in fewer minutes being available for Nique Clifford and Malik Monk.

Kings' Malik Monk: Shines off bench
Monk registered 23 points (9-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt), one rebound and two assists over 26 minutes during Sunday's 117-110 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Monk tied Russell Westbrook for the team lead in scoring, but it wasn't enough firepower to secure the victory. Monk has been hit or miss from beyond the arc lately, as he drilled seven triples Jan. 12 against the Lakers on nine attempts, but then went 0-for-6 over his next two appearances, followed by five threes Sunday.

Kings' Dylan Cardwell: Secures double-double off bench
Cardwell recorded 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 117-110 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Cardwell collected his first double-double of the 2025-26 campaign and saw plenty of chances with the Kings still working Domantas Sabonis back from a knee injury. This marks Cardwell's second time this year that he's reached double-digit rebounds and his third time scoring 10-plus points, though these chances are expected to dwindle once Sabonis begins to ramp up his workload.

Kings' Keon Ellis: Won't go vs. Blazers
Ellis (knee) is out for Sunday's game against Portland.
Ellis will miss a second consecutive matchup while nursing left knee soreness. He hasn't been all that involved in the rotation of late, but Nique Clifford could pick up a few extra minutes Sunday in Ellis' absence.

Kings' Keon Ellis: Game-time call for Sunday
Ellis (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Ellis was held out of Friday's clash due to knee soreness but could return to the hardwood Sunday. The team should have another update on his availability closer to tipoff.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Productive in return
Sabonis (knee) supplied 13 points (5-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 21 minutes off the bench during Friday's 128-115 victory over the Wizards.
Making his return from a knee injury that had sidelined him since Nov. 16, Sabonis was eased into action as part of the second unit but still delivered a solid overall line. The 29-year-old big may not rejoin the starting five right away, but he should still be a fantasy asset in limited minutes. The next big test for Sabonis will come early next week, when the Kings plays back-to-back games at home Tuesday and Wednesday against the Heat and Raptors, respectively.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Season-high six threes in win
Westbrook posted 26 points (9-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 128-115 victory over the Wizards.
The 26 points led all scorers on the night, while the six made three-pointers were a new season high for Westbrook. The veteran guard has topped 20 points three times in nine January contests, averaging 17.1 points, 6.7 assists, 5.2 boards, 2.3 threes and 1.0 steals on the month.
