We have now reached Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season, and more and more teams are dealing with injuries. Additionally, more and more teams are dealing with the coronavirus, and some games are again in question this week. For example, the Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans matchup appears to be in doubt due to an outbreak in Nashville, and the New England Patriots had to call off practice on Wednesday due to another positive COVID-19 test.
Below, we will catch you up on all the injury updates that are noteworthy and also give you the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears' final injury reports, as they are set to kick off on "Thursday Night Football."

Buccaneers (-4.5) at Bears
- Buccaneers: WR Chris Godwin (hamstring), LeSean McCoy (ankle), WR Justin Watson (chest) OUT; RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) DOUBTFUL; WR Mike Evans (ankle), WR Scotty Miller (hip/groin) QUESTIONABLE
- Bears: S Deon Bush (hamstring) OUT; S Sherrick McManis (hamstring) DOUBTFUL; WR Darnell Mooney (shoulder) QUESTIONABLE
The Buccaneers will be without several weapons on Thursday night, as Godwin, McCoy and Watson will not suit up against the Bears. Fournette is doubtful and could miss his second game, which would leave the Bucs with just two RBs. Tom Brady could also be without Evans and Miller, who are questionable.
Mooney was one of Nick Foles' favorite targets last week, as he caught five of nine targets for 52 yards in the Bears' loss against the Indianapolis Colts. He was a full participant in practice all week, but is officially questionable for Thursday night.
Wednesday practice reports
Rodney McLeod (hamstring) was a new addition to the Eagles' weekly injury report, as the veteran safety missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury. Also not practicing Wednesday was offensive tackle Lane Johnson, who suffered an ankle injury during last week's win in San Francisco. While Eagles coach Doug Pederson recently said that he expects Johnson's injury to "linger," he does not necessarily expect his veteran lineman to miss any game time. Two Eagles that did practice in limited fashion were receivers DeSean Jackson (hamstring) and Alshon Jeffery (foot).
Receiver Diontae Johnson, who was just cleared out of concussion protocol, missed Wednesday with a toe injury. Fellow receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster also missed with a knee injury. Despite these injuries, both players should be on the field when the Steelers play for the first time in two weeks. Another Steelers player to keep an eye on is fullback Derek Watt, who is hoping to play Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury during the Steelers' Week 3 win over Houston. Watt did not practice on Wednesday, as his participation during the next two days will likely determine his game day status.
Bills at Titans (OFF)
This matchup is in danger of not happening this week, as two more Titans reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday morning. The facilities in Nashville will remain closed, which means it's possible this game may not be played in Week 5. A total of 22 Titans players and other members have returned positive coronavirus tests since Sept. 24.
Buffalo had five players miss practice due to injury on Wednesday: Cornerbacks Levi Wallace (ankle) and Tre'Davious White (back), receiver Andrew Roberts (ankle), linebacker Matt Milano (pec) and guard Cody Ford. Receiver Cole Beasley was limited with a foot injury. Wallace was placed on injured reserve shortly after the Bills released Wednesday's injury report. Quarterback Josh Allen, despite dealing with a left shoulder injury, was a full participant.
Receiver A.J. Brown (knee) was the only Titans player who was limited on Wednesday. Brown, a 1,000-yard receiver a season ago, has played in just one game in 2020. Among the notable Titans who practiced in full on Wednesday include cornerback Malcolm Butler (quad) and pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney (knee).
While Chris Banjo (hamstring) missed Monday's practice, fellow safety Budda Baker (thumb) practiced in full after both players missed Arizona's Week 4 loss to the Panthers. Running back Kenyan Drake (chest) and offensive lineman Justin Pugh (knee) were full participants Wednesday after both players sustained injuries against the Panthers.
With Sam Darnold (right shoulder) on the mend, veteran Joe Flacco will start for the Jets' upcoming game against the Cardinals. Other notable non-participants during Wednesday's practice include offensive lineman Mekhi Becton (shoulder), receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) and linebacker Jordan Jenkins (shoulder/calf). Safety Ashtyn Davis, who missed last Thursday night's loss to the Jets with a groin injury, was limited on Wednesday. Also limited on Wednesday was receivers Chris Hogan (ribs/knee) and Jamison Crowder (hamstring).
The Bengals didn't have anyone miss practice Wednesday due to injury but did have several players who practiced in a limited capacity, including Pro Bowl defensive tackle Geno Atkins (shoulder), linebacker Logan Wilson (concussion), cornerback Mackensie Alexander (hamstring) and offensive tackle Jonah Williams (shoulder).
Lamar Jackson (knee) was one of six Ravens that did not practice on Wednesday due to injury. Jackson's injury is not considered serious, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, who added that the reigning MVP was held out of practice for precautionary reasons. Among the Ravens who practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday was receiver Marquise Brown, who is dealing with a knee injury.
Rams (-7.5) at Washington
Offensive lineman Bobby Evans (shoulder) and linebacker Kenny Young (knee) were the only two Rams that missed practice on Wednesday due to injury. Safety Jordan Fuller (shoulder) was a full participant, while rookie running Cam Akers, who has missed the past two games with injured ribs, was limited. Wednesday marked the first time Akers has practiced since sustaining the injury.
Rookie pass rusher Chase Young (groin) and receiver Terry McLaurin (thigh) were among the six Washington players who missed practice Wednesday due to injury. Young has not practiced since sustaining his injury during Washington's Week 3 loss to Cleveland. McLaurin, despite being questionable for last Sunday's game against the Ravens, caught 10 of 14 targets for 118 yards while playing with the injury.
Panthers cornerback Eli Apple (hamstring), cornerback Donte Jackson (toe), TE Chris Manhertz (ankle) and offensive tackle Russell Okung (groin) were all limited participants on Wednesday.
Receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) and safety Jaylinn Hawkins (concussion) were the only two Falcons player who missed Wednesday's practice. Receiver Calvin Ridley (thigh/knee), safeties Keanu Neal (hamstring) and Ricardo Allen (elbow) and defensive tackles Marlon Davidson (knee) and Grady Jarrett (hip) were among the Falcons' limited participants. Jones, who missed the second half of Monday night's loss to Packers after re-aggravating his hamstring, will likely need to see some participation in practice this week in order to play Sunday against the Panthers.
Defensive end Josh Allen (knee), cornerback C.J. Henderson (shoulder) and linebacker Myles Jack (ankle) were among the six Jaguars players who missed Wednesday's practice. Rookie receiver Laviska Shenault was limited with a knee injury. Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said that Shenault -- who recorded a season-best 86 receiving yards last Sunday -- has a chance to face the Texans on Sunday.
Tight end Jordan Akins (ankle/concussion) was the only Texans player who missed Wednesday's practice. Offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (shoulder) and running back Buddy Howell (hamstring) were among the Texans' six players who practiced in a limited capacity.
The Raiders received several positive updates as far as injuries are concerned. Running back Josh Jacobs (hip), safety Johnathan Abram (shoulder/thumb) were full participants on Wednesday. Returning to practice in limited capacities on Wednesday were receiver Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) and offensive tackle Trent Brown (calf). Tight end Darren Waller (knee) was limited but is not expected to miss Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Defensive end Mike Danna (hamstring) was the only Chiefs player who missed Wednesday's practice. Defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin) was limited, while receivers Tyreek Hill (heel) and Mecole Hardman (hamstring) were full participants.
Linebacker Oshane Ximines (shoulder) was the only Giants player who missed practice on Wednesday. Defensive back Adrian Colbert (neck), linebacker Kyler Fackrell (neck) and safety Jabrill Peppers (ankle) were limited participants.
Perennial Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith (neck), who played in all 82 snaps during last week's loss to the Cowboys was held out of Wednesday's practice, as the team is trying to manage his workload. Center Joe Looney -- who also didn't practice Wednesday -- is expected to miss some time with his knee injury. Defensive linemen Dorance Armstrong (knee) and Tyrone Crawford (ankle) also missed Wednesday's practice. Dallas did have defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (knee) and receiver Trevon Diggs (shoulder/knee) practice in a full capacity on Wednesday.
Colts (-1.5) at Browns
The Colts' linebacker corps is dealing with some injuries heading into Sunday's game. Darius Leonard (groin) and Bobby Okereke (thumb) missed Wednesday's practice, while E.J. Speed (elbow) was limited. Also limited Wednesday was cornerback T.J. Carrie, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo was also limited with a rib injury. Colts coach Frank Reich has not ruled any of his players out for Sunday's game.
Defensive tackles Larry Ogunjobi (abdomen) and Sheldon Richardson (thigh) and linebacker Tae Davis (elbow) were the only Browns players who missed Wednesday's practice. Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (toe) and running Kareem Hunt (groin) were limited but are both expected to suit up against the Colts. Cornerback Greedy Williams, who has yet to play this season after sustaining a shoulder injury, was limited on Wednesday.
Offensive tackle Austin Jackson (foot), defensive end Shaq Lawson (shoulder/illness) and tight end Durham Smythe (knee) were the only Dolphins players who sat out of Wednesday's practice. Receiver DeVante Parker (ankle) was limited, while defensive backs Kavon Frazier (shoulder) and Xavien Howard (knee) were full participants. If Jackson can't go on Sunday, he will likely be replaced by Julie'n Davenport, a four-year veteran who replaced Jackson late in last Sunday's loss to the Seahawks.
Defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (biceps) and defensive backs Dontae Johnson (groin), Emmanuel Moseley (concussion), Jimmie Ward (wrist) and K'Waun Williams (knee/hip) were the five 49ers that missed Wednesday's practice. Running back Raheem Mostert (knee), linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) were among the 49ers' players who practiced in a limited capacity. The 49ers will monitor Garoppolo's process throughout the week before making any decisions for Sunday's game.
Broncos at Patriots (OFF)
Rookie receiver K.J. Hamler (hamstring), tight end Noah Fant (ankle) and linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu (quad) missed Denver's practice on Wednesday. Quarterback Drew Lock (shoulder) was limited, while running back Phillip Lindsay, who has missed the past three games with a foot injury, practiced in full.
The Patriots canceled practice on Wednesday after cornerback Stephon Gilmore tested positive for COVID-19, so we won't have any updates today for New England.
Linebacker Eric Kendricks (foot) and receiver K.J. Osborn (hamstring) were the only two Vikings players who missed Wednesday's practice. Receiver Adam Thielen (shoulder) was limited with a shoulder injury. While he is second to rookie Justin Jefferson in receiving, Thielen has four of the team's six touchdown receptions through four games.
Leading off Seattle's massive Wednesday injury report was the news that safety Jamal Adams (groin) will miss Sunday's game against the Vikings. Running back Chris Carson (knee), tight end Will Dissly (Achilles) and Carlos Hyde (shoulder) were among the Seahawks' players that practiced in a limited capacity.
