Allegretti left last week's win over the Cardinals with the injury and was unable to return to the game. The Illinois product is now healthy enough to suit up and should get the start at left guard against Cleveland.

The starting guard contributed to a Washington offensive effort that ended with 216 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Allegretti has started all four games for the Commanders this season after signing a three-year, $16-million deal in the offseason.

Allegretti (elbow) appears in line for a starting role with the Commanders after signing as a free agent in the offseason, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.
The veteran guard started the Super Bowl for Kansas City with Joe Thuney out and suffered a UCL tear in that contest. However, Allegretti then signed a three-year, $16 million deal with Washington in March after playing in 74 games (13 starts) in five seasons with the Chiefs.

Allegretti suffered a torn UCL in his elbow during Kansas City's Super Bowl victory Sunday against the 49ers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Allegretti started at left guard with Joe Thuney (pectoral) out and ended up suffering a serious injury in the second quarter, but he managed to play through it. Allegretti will likely require surgery and will look to be healthy for the start of next season.
