Riley suffered a slight Achilles tear during Wednesday's practice, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Per Stroud, the injury occurred after Riley was tangled up with Rob Gronkowski and Kevin Minter in practice. It's unclear how long the injury will keep Riley out, but his absence won't affect much from a fantasy perspective.

Riley is set to sign with the Vikings on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Riley has been in the league since 2016, taking snaps for four different organizations. His best year was 2018 with the Giants, when he recorded 75 combined tackles and four interceptions while appearing in all 16 games. He did a appear in a few games for Arizona in 2020, but was demoted to the practice squad and later cut in early October. Riley, who should be available by Week 9, will help provide depth to cover for the loss of Georgia Iloka, who was placed on IR last week after suffering a torn ACL.

The 27-year-old filled a rotational role in the secondary for most of the season, but he did receive three starts, including Week 17 when he posted seven solo tackles and a forced fumble. Overall it was still somewhat of a disappointing season for Riley, as his playing time was limited despite Johnathan Abram (shoulder) landing on injured reserve after the season opener. Riley returns to free agency in March after a season of inconsistent defensive opportunities on a porous pass defense.

Raiders' Curtis Riley: Signs one-year deal with Oakland

Riley is signing a one-year contract with the Raiders, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Riley went undrafted in 2015 and barely played until 2018, but he emerged as a 16-game starter for the Giants last season, piling up 75 tackles (63 solo), five passes defensed and four interceptions (including one for a TD). He was far less reliable than the stat line suggests, as Pro Football Focus charged him with the most missed tackles (23) of any defensive back in the NFL. The Raiders signed fellow safety Lamarcus Joyner to a much larger contract earlier this offseason, but it won't come as any surprise if he takes most of his snaps at slot cornerback, thus freeing up a spot for Riley as the free safety in nickel packages. From an IDP perspective, strong safety Karl Joseph offers the highest ceiling in the Oakland secondary.
