Dallas designated Edoga (toe) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Edoga has been out since training camp due to a lingering toe issue, but he'll resume practicing Wednesday and could be close to making his season debut. The Cowboys will have 21 days to evaluate him before he would have to be activated or remain on IR for the rest of the season.

Dallas placed Edoga (toe) on the reserve/injured list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Edoga injured his big toe in the Cowboys' preseason opener against the Rams. He'll now be forced to miss a minimum of four games, making Week 5 against the Steelers on Oct. 6 the earliest he can return. With Edoga on the shelf to begin the regular season, rookie first-round pick Tyler Guyton (knee) will start at left tackle and will be tasked with protecting Dak Prescott's blindside.

Edoga will return to the field after leaving last Sunday's win over the Rams early with the injury. However, with the return of Tyron Smith (neck), Edoga is expected to fill a reserve role on the team's offensive line this week.

Edoga went down with an elbow injury in the team's 30-10 win over the Jets in Week 2, but he appears ready to go for Sunday's contest with Arizona. With starting center Tyler Biadasz dealing with a hamstring injury, it's possible Edoga draws a start in Week 3 if Dallas shuffles its offensive line.

Edoga suffered an elbow injury and did not return to the Cowboys' 30-10 win over the Jets on Sunday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Edoga was spotted with a wrap on his elbow as T.J. Bass replaced him at left guard in the second half. After the game, owner Jerry Jones said he doesn't think the injury is significant, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. More information on Edoga's status will likely be provided when Dallas returns to practice this week.

Edoga spent the 2022 campaign with the Falcons but appeared in just two games and finished the year on injured reserve with a knee issue. He hyperextended his knee in practice earlier in August but appears to have moved past the issue since he wasn't waived with an injury designation Tuesday.
