  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Held in check by Dolphins

Meyers secured four of six targets for 28 yards and rushed once for 20 yards in the Raiders' 34-19 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. It was an atypical stat line all the way around for Meyers, who recorded the longest rush of his career but also posted his lowest receiving yardage tally of the campaign. The veteran pass catcher did record at least four catches for the seventh straight game, but he's eclipsed the century mark only once, in Week 9 against the Bengals, over the course of the season. Meyers usually gets more mileage out of his pass-catching opportunities than he did Sunday, but he'll face a daunting task against the Broncos at home in Week 12.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Start

Meyers should benefit with Gardner Minshew remaining the starting quarterback for the Raiders heading into Week 11 at Miami, and I like Meyers as a solid No. 2 receiver in all leagues. He's hot coming off the bye for Las Vegas since he scored at least 17.2 PPR points in each of his past two games against the Chiefs and Bengals. He has 18 targets over that span for 14 catches, 157 yards, and a touchdown, and he should have success against the Dolphins, who have allowed five receivers to score at least 14 PPR points in the past three games.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Contrarian DFS Play

Meyers has been WR15 on a per-game basis since Week 3. He's scored at least 17 PPR Fantasy points in each of his last two games since he returned from injury. He's priced like a number three wide receiver and will go overlooked because of questions about the offense and the quarterback.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Eclipses century mark in loss

Meyers secured eight of 11 targets for 105 yards in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. The veteran wideout was the leader across the board for the Raiders' pass catchers despite middling quarterback play from both Gardner Minshew and Desmond Ridder. Meyers' reception, yardage and target totals were also all season-high figures, and he now has at least six receptions in four of the last five games. It remains to be seen what quarterback Meyers will work with in a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17 coming out of a Week 10 bye, but the sixth-year pro should remain the clear-cut leader of the wideout corps under any circumstance.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Churns out full practice

Meyers (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. After missing two straight games with the ankle injury, Meyers returned to action in this past Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs, playing 80 percent of the offensive snaps while finishing with six catches for 52 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Meyers was limited in practice to kick off Week 9 prep, but his full session Thursday sets the stage for him to join tight end Brock Bowers as the clear top targets in the passing game for quarterback Gardner Minshew in Sunday's game against the Bengals.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Start

Meyers is the No. 1 receiver for the Raiders with Davante Adams now in New York, and Meyers has scored at least 13.2 PPR points in each of his past two games. In Week 8 against Kansas City, Meyers had six catches for 52 yards and a touchdown on seven targets for 17.2 PPR points, and he gets a more favorable matchup in Week 9 against the Bengals. Three receivers have scored at least 13.4 PPR points against Cincinnati in the past two games, and I like Meyers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Gets in limited practice Wednesday

Meyers (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday. In his return from a two-game absence due to the ankle injury, Meyers caught six of his seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown while playing 81 percent of the snaps on offense in this past Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. With no reported setbacks coming out of that contest, Meyers' listed limitations Wednesday may just have been maintenance-related.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Contrarian DFS Play

Meyers has averaged 14.9 PPR FPPG over his last four games against some very difficult matchups. He has 35 targets over that stretch. This week, he's priced like a low-end WR3 against a mediocre Bengals defense. Expect 10 targets, and don't be surprised if he gives you 20 Fantasy points.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Top target in return

Meyers recorded six receptions on seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. Meyers returned from a two-game absence and immediately led the Raiders in targets and receptions. He was heavily involved on the opening drive, converting a key first down with an 11-yard catch before finding the end zone from seven yards away. Meyers then tallied his longest catch of the day for 17 yards early in the second quarter, setting up a Las Vegas field goal. While his final stat line was modest, Meyers should dominate targets along with Brock Bowers moving forward.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Active in Week 8, as expected

Meyers (ankle) is active for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Chiefs. Meyers was reported to be in line for a return from a two-game absence after wrapping up the practice week with a full session Friday, and his active status is now official. The veteran wideout returns to a notably altered wide receiver corps than the one he left, as Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets during Meyers' absence. Meyers will therefore assume the No. 1 receiver role moving forward, albeit with the inconsistent Gardner Minshew as his quarterback beginning with a difficult matchup against the Chiefs' talented secondary Sunday.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Expected to be active Week 8

Meyers (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's game versus Kansas City, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Meyers missed the Raiders' past two contests due to an ankle injury, but he appears set to return Sunday against the Chiefs. The 27-year-old will likely function as Las Vegas' top wideout now that Davante Adams is a member of the Jets. Meyers has logged at least nine targets and 49 receiving yards in each of the past three games for which he's been able to suit up.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Questionable after full practice

Meyers (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after returning to a full practice Friday. Meyers was limited Wednesday, didn't practice Thursday and then was able to log a full session to close out the week. Earlier Friday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic relayed that head coach Antonio Pierce expects Meyers to play this weekend, with the wideout's participation level supporting that notion. Look for added context regarding his Week 8 availability to arrive via national reporters such as ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Misses practice Thursday

Meyers (ankle) didn't practice Thursday. Meyers, who has missed two straight games, logged a limited practice Wednesday, so his non-participation a day later is notable. It remains to be seen if the downgrade is maintenance-related or indicative of a setback, with added context on that front slated to arrive no later than the release of Friday's final injury report.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Limited in return to practice

Meyers (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday. Meyers didn't practice in any capacity last week before missing a second straight game in Sunday's loss to the Rams, but his presence at Wednesday's session is an encouraging sign for his chances of playing this weekend against the Chiefs. Once Meyers returns to the lineup, a high-volume role should await him, given that the Raiders' former top wideout, Davante Adams, is now with the Jets.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Set to practice Wednesday

Meyers (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports. Meyers didn't practice last week before sitting out a second straight game in Sunday's 20-15 los to the Rams. The wideout's anticipated participation in Wednesday's session is a step in the right direction, but he'll probably need to practice fully by Friday on order to approach this weekend's game against the Chiefs without an injury designation.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Inactive Sunday

Meyers (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams. Meyers, who didn't practice this past week, headed into the weekend listed as doubtful. Now that he's been made inactive for the second straight game, Tre Tucker and DJ Turner are slated to lead the Raiders' Week 7 wideout corps, with Alex Bachman, Kristian Wilkerson and Tyreik McAllister also on hand. Meyers' next chance to see game action will arrive next Sunday against the Chiefs.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Doubtful for Week 7

Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said Friday that Meyers (ankle) will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's road game against the Rams, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Meyers will miss his third straight practice of the week and likely his second consecutive game due to a lingering ankle injury. With Davante Adams having been traded to the Jets on Tuesday, Meyers will be in a position to work as Las Vegas' top wide receiver when he's available. However, things are trending toward Tre Tucker, DJ Turner, Tyreik McAllister, Alex Bachman and Kristian Wilkerson leading the Raiders' wide receiver corps Sunday, in addition to rookie phenom Brock Bowers at tight end. Final word on Meyer's status will arrive about 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, at the latest.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Still not practicing

Meyers (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports. Meyers didn't practice Wednesday, so what the wideout is able to do Friday will loom large in terms of his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Rams. With Davante Adams now a member of the Jets, Meyers, when he's healthy, will have an opportunity to see a steady share of WR snaps and targets in the Raiders offense as the season progresses.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Not in line to practice Wednesday

Meyers (ankle) is not slated to practice Wednesday, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports. Meyers, who missed last weekend's loss to the Steelers, thus has two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams. Once he's available to return to the' lineup, Meyers will have an opportunity to step in as the Raiders' No. 1 wideout after Davante Adams was traded to the Jets on Tuesday.

  • Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Returning to practice

Meyers (ankle) is expected to return to practice Wednesday, with Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce noting that he's hopeful the wide receiver can play Sunday against the Rams, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports. Meyers managed just one limited practice last week (Friday) and was downgraded from questionable to doubtful before being inactive ahead of the Raiders' eventual loss to the Steelers. He appears to have a good chance to return for Week 7, and after the Raiders traded Davante Adams to the Jets on Tuesday, Meyers is now locked in as the team's clear No. 1 wideout.
