Cushenberry was released Feb. 25 by the Titans with a failed physical designation, but he has evidently recovered a month later, proving himself healthy enough to sign with Buffalo. He made 23 starts for the Titans over the previous two seasons and will compete for playing time at center with his new team.

  The Titans have released Cushenberry (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Cushenberry saw action in 23 regular-season games for the Titans over the past two seasons, including 15 contests in 2025. The 2020 third-rounder will now look to catch on elsewhere once he moves past his current injury issue. Prior to Wednesday's move, the center had two seasons remaining on the four-year deal he signed with Tennessee in March of 2024.

Cushenberry is still recovering from a torn Achilles suffered last November despite there initially having been hope that he could be ready for training camp. The center signed a four-year, $50-million contract in the offseason after starting all 57 games he played in with Denver across his first four seasons in the NFL.
