Cushenberry (undisclosed) signed a one-year contract with the Bills on Thursday. Cushenberry was released Feb. 25 by the Titans with a failed physical designation, but he has evidently recovered a month later, proving himself healthy enough to sign with Buffalo. He made 23 starts for the Titans over the previous two seasons and will compete for playing time at center with his new team.

  • Lloyd Cushenberry: Let go by Titans

The Titans have released Cushenberry (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Cushenberry saw action in 23 regular-season games for the Titans over the past two seasons, including 15 contests in 2025. The 2020 third-rounder will now look to catch on elsewhere once he moves past his current injury issue. Prior to Wednesday's move, the center had two seasons remaining on the four-year deal he signed with Tennessee in March of 2024.

Cushenberry (foot) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Cushenberry missed the past two games with a foot injury suffered in Tennessee's Week 12 loss to Seattle. The 28-year-old finished the week as a full participant, which is a positive sign for Sunday's matchup against San Francisco. If he is unable to play, Corey Levin will continue to start in his place.

Cushenberry is likely out for the season with an Achilles injury suffered during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Patriots, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports. The center signed a four-year, $50-million contract in the offseason after starting all 57 games he played in with Denver across his first four seasons in the NFL.
