Chase Roberts: Agrees to injury settlement with Vegas

The Raiders waived Roberts (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.
The settlement allows Roberts to sign and play with a team once he's fully recovered from his unspecified injury. The BYU product signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in late April and appeared in two preseason games for Las Vegas, catching one pass (on two targets) for 12 yards while adding two tackles (one solo) on special teams.

Roberts signed with the Raiders in late April as an undrafted free agent out of BYU. The wide receiver participated in the first two preseason games for the team before succumbing to an unknown injury. Roberts will be subject to waivers, and if he clears, he will revert to the Raiders' injured reserve list. If Roberts reverts to IR, he will miss the entirety of the 2026 season unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

Roberts signed as an undrafted free agent with the Raiders on Thursday.
Roberts played four seasons for BYU and averaged 53 catches for 828 yards and five touchdowns over his final two campaigns. He has good height at 6-foot-4 but lacks vertical speed. Las Vegas has one of the league's least-established WR corps, so Roberts could compete for a roster spot as a depth wideout if he impresses in training camp.
