  • Jaguars' Robert Hainsey: Questionable with groin issue

Hainsey (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Broncos, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports. Hainsey left the game in the fourth quarter after suffering a groin injury. Jonah Monheim will take snaps at center in Hainsey's absence.

  • Jaguars' Robert Hainsey: Practices in full Thursday

Hainsey (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Hainsey was unable to play in Week 6 against the Seahawks due to a hamstring injury. His ability to practice in full Thursday indicates that he is on track to play against the Rams on Sunday, and he'll likely reclaim his starting spot at center while Jonah Monheim reverts to a reserve role.

  • Jaguars' Robert Hainsey: Not playing Week 6

Hainsey (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Hainsey suffered a hamstring injury during the Jaguars' Week 5 win over the Chiefs. He was listed as doubtful for Week 6 after practicing in a limited fashion Friday, and the 2021 third-rounder will observe Sunday's game in street clothes. Rookie seventh-rounder Jonah Monheim will make the first start of his NFL career at center in Hainsey's absence.

  • Jaguars' Robert Hainsey: Not likely against Seahawks

Hainsey (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Hainsey left Monday's game against the Chiefs due to a hamstring injury but managed to return to practice Friday for a limited session. That doesn't look to be enough activity for him to suit up in Week 6, but his official status may not be decided until Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Robert Hainsey: Exits game with hamstring injury

Hainsey (hamstring) is questionable to return to Monday night's game against the Chiefs. Rookie seventh-rounder Jonah Monheim has taken over at center and will remain on the field for as long as Hainsey is out of the game while tending to his hamstring injury.

  • Jaguars' Robert Hainsey: Joining Jacksonville

The Jaguars signed Hainsey to a three-year, $21 million deal Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The 26-year-old will reunite with head coach Liam Cohen, who served as Tampa Bay's offensive coordinator in 2024, now that he's signed a deal with the Jaguars. Hainsey started all 34 of the Buccaneers' regular-season games from 2022 to 2023 but started just one game in 2024, playing only 95 offensive snaps across 17 appearances. He will likely have the opportunity to compete for Jacksonville's starting center position this summer.

  • Buccaneers' Robert Hainsey: Clears injury report Wednesday

Hainsey (soreness) wasn't listed on the Buccaneers' injury report Wednesday. Hainsey was inactive for the Buccaneers' preseason win versus the Jets on Aug. 19 due to soreness. The 25-year-old stepped up into a starting role in place of injured center Ryan Jensen for much of last season. With Jensen set to be on IR with a knee injury for the entire 2023 campaign, Hainsey should be in line to start Sunday's season opener against the Vikings.
