Colts' Austin Ajiake: Downgraded to out for Sunday
Rotowire
Ajiake (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game with the Ravens.
Ahiake was questionable to play in Week 1 as he nursed a hamstring injury he likely sustained during the week. The linebacker's absence will leave a void on special teams. Second-round rookie CJ Allen is a likely candidate to take over some of the snaps that Ajiake will miss.

Colts' Austin Ajiake: Inks one-year extension with Indy
Rotowire
The Colts signed Ajiake to a one-year contract extension Monday.
Ajiake was signed by the Colts in mid-September after initially failing to crack the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He ended up appearing in 16 regular-season games and accumulated 32 tackles (13 solo), including 0.5 sacks, while contributing on both defense and special teams. Ajiake will aim to impress the coaching staff during OTAs, minicamp and training camp in order to earn a larger role for himself in 2026.

Ajiake had two total tackles in Sunday's win over Miami. He played on just nine of the defense's 47 snaps.
Ajiake was elevated to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of the game. He had a tackle on special teams, where he'll get most of his playing time as a reserve linebacker if he stays on the active roster. Ajiake spent 2024 on Indy's practice squad after spending time on the practice squad or preseason rosters of the Packers, Raiders and Broncos in 2023 as an undrafted free agent from UNLV.
