    Carvin (undisclosed) had a tryout with the Texans on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Carvin spent training camp with the Chiefs before landing on injured reserve shortly before the season kicked off. He subsequently reached an injury settlement and has been sidelined since. The guard's workout in Houston indicates his health is back up to par.

    Kansas City waived Carvin (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Carvin was waived with an undisclosed injury designation ahead of the Chiefs' final roster cuts, and he landed on the team's IR after going unclaimed. The undrafted rookie out of Tennessee will now be free to sign with a new team during the 2023 season.

    Carvin (undisclosed) reverted to Kansas City's reserve/injured list Wednesday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports. Carvin went undrafted out of Tennessee this past year, appearing in 60 games over his five-year collegiate career. Since the Chiefs waived him Tuesday, the 22-year-old was passed over by every team and will revert to IR.
