  • McCallan Castles: Gets injury settlement

Castles (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Packers on Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction log. The tight end was waived/injured a day earlier and reverted to IR early Monday. The settlement indicates that his injury is not serious and that he might be able to play in 2026 if he can find another opportunity. Castles saw action in all three of Green Bay's preseason games but did not record a catch.

  • McCallan Castles: Waived/injured by Green Bay

The Packers waived/injured Castles (undisclosed) on Sunday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports. The Packers signed Castles in early August after waiving him in late April. The tight end participated in all three preseason games for the Packers but did not show up in the box score. Castles will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will revert to the Packers' injured reserve list.
