Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Sleepers (Start/Sit)
Rotowire
Rodriguez will likely need a touchdown to boost his Fantasy value since he has one catch for 6 yards on two targets for the season. But he's scored a touchdown in three of his past four games, and the Vikings have allowed at least one rushing touchdown to a running back in six games in a row. Rodriguez also has at least 11 carries in three of his past four games, and he's become the primary running back for the Commanders ahead of Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols. But we need Rodriguez to find the end zone to be a quality flex option, so hopefully he gets another chance to score for Washington in this game.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Week 14 Adds (RB Preview)
Rotowire
You are not going to find an RB2 on the waiver wire. But you can find a lead running back in Chris Rodriguez. He leads the team in rush share over the last month and has the goal-line role locked up. The Commanders could be more run-heavy in Week 14 against the Vikings' anemic offense. He still needs a TD to be a good start, but he is the most likely back on the waiver wire to score this week.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Week 14 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Rodriguez scored a touchdown in Week 13 against Denver, and he finished with 11 carries for 41 yards and no catches on one target. He now has a touchdown in three of his past four games, and he has led Washington in carries in his past two outings against the Dolphins and Broncos. He's worth using as a flex option in all leagues in Week 14 at Minnesota, but then he faces the Giants in Week 15, which is a great matchup. Jayden Daniels (elbow) could return soon, which should be a boost for Washington's offense, and Rodriguez is worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Paces backfield again
Rotowire
Rodriguez rushed the ball 11 times for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos. He did not record a catch on one target.
Rodriguez retained his role as the lead back for the Commanders, with his 11 total touches bettering Jeremy McNichols by three. Rodriguez didn't have a particularly efficient showing, though he did find the end zone from eight yards away shortly before halftime to account for his fourth touchdown in his last six matchups. He now has double-digit rushing attempts in three of his last four matchups heading into a Week 14 contest against the Vikings.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Listed as full Thursday
Rotowire
Rodriguez (illness) was listed as full on Thursday's practice report.
Rodriguez was held out of drills Wednesday due to an illness, but his return to all listed activity one day later sets him up to be among the Commanders' available running backs Sunday against the Broncos. In the three games prior to the team's Week 12 bye, he recorded double-digit carries two times en route to 33 rushes for 160 yards and two touchdowns and one catch (on one target) for six yards during that span.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: RBs to Sit
Rotowire
Rodriguez should be added in all leagues since he looks like the No. 1 running back for Washington heading into Week 13 against Denver. But that doesn't mean you have to start Rodriguez in the majority of leagues. The Broncos are No. 4 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and Denver should be able to contain Rodriguez in this matchup. Prior to Washington's bye in Week 12, Rodriguez had a touchdown in two of his past three games and had 15 carries for 79 yards and one catch for 6 yards on one target in Week 11 at Miami. He offers little in the passing game -- his reception against the Dolphins was his first of the season -- so if he doesn't score, then his Fantasy production will be minimal. And the Broncos have allowed just six rushing touchdowns to running backs this year.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Dealing with illness
Rotowire
Rodriguez missed Wednesday's practice with an illness.
Rodriguez likely will have time to recover before Sunday's game against Denver. Workload uncertainty is the greater concern for fantasy, with Jeremy McNichols presumably still handling passing downs and Jacory Croskey-Merritt a threat for carries. Rodriguez replaced Croskey-Merritt as the lead runner in Washington's past two games, but the latter still has had a significant role off the bench.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Week 13 Adds (RB Preview)
Rotowire
While Neal is only startable in full PPR, Rodriguez is only a good flex in non-PPR. In the Commanders' most recent game he had 15 carries for 79 yards and he has scored a rushing touchdown in three of his last five games. If he holds on to this role he could be a great start in the first round of the Fantasy playoffs against the Giants.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Week 13 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
As we said last week prior to Washington's bye in Week 12, Rodriguez should be viewed as the No. 1 running back for the Commanders moving forward, and he's worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB. Against the Dolphins in Week 10, Rodriguez had 15 carries for 79 yards and one catch for 6 yards on one target. Even prior to Week 11, Rodriguez had 18 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns combined against Seattle and Detroit, and he didn't finish the Lions game in Week 10 with a shoulder injury. He doesn't offer much in the passing game, and we'll see what happens with Jayden Daniels (elbow). But in this role, Rodriguez can be at least a flex option in the majority of leagues for the rest of the season.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Stashes (RB Preview)
Rotowire
Rodriguez is on bye this week, but he pretty clearly looks like the lead back in Washington and could be a high-end flex in the Fantasy playoffs. With all the other options available on the waiver wire, he may be close to free this week. He gets the Giants in Week 15 and the Cowboys in Week 17.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Week 12 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Rodriguez took over the Washington backfield in Week 11 at Miami in Madrid, and he should continue in that role after the Commanders' bye in Week 12. He's worth adding in all leagues for at least 5 percent of your remaining FAB. Against the Dolphins, Rodriguez had 15 carries for 79 yards and one catch for 6 yards on one target. Even prior to Week 11, Rodriguez had 18 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns combined against Seattle and Detroit, and he didn't finish the Lions game in Week 10 with a shoulder injury. He doesn't offer much in the passing game, and we'll see what happens after the bye with Jayden Daniels (elbow). But in this role, Rodriguez can be at least a flex option in the majority of leagues for the rest of the season.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Leading rusher in Sunday's OT loss
Rotowire
Rodriguez carried the ball 15 times for 79 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
The third-year RB took the lead in the Washington backfield, getting 16 touches to Jacory Croskey-Merritt's 10 and out-gaining the rookie 85 scrimmage yards to 33. The workload and yardage total were also season highs for Rodriguez, and he's making a solid case to break out of the Commanders' committee and take over the clear No. 1 job on the other side of the team's Week 12 bye. Rodriguez has already set new career highs with 60 carries for 279 rushing yards and three TDs through nine games.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Sleeper RBs
Rotowire
Rodriguez looks like the lead running back for Washington heading into Week 11 against Miami in Madrid, and he's worth using as a flex option in all leagues. In his past two games against Seattle and Detroit, Rodriguez had 18 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns, and he didn't finish the Lions game with a shoulder injury. He offers nothing in the passing game, but he could still be productive against the Dolphins, who are No. 10 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. While Miami has gotten better against the run since the beginning of the season, nine running backs have still scored at least 12.7 PPR points against the Dolphins, including two in a row.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Opens Week 11 with full practice
Rotowire
Rodriguez (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Rodriguez was forced out of Washington's loss to the Lions in Week 10 early due to a shoulder injury, but he already appears back to full health as the Commanders prepare to face off against the Dolphins in Madrid on Sunday. Prior to departing versus Detroit, Rodriguez rushed six times for 16 yards and one touchdown. Barring any setbacks, expect Rodriguez to again split backfield opportunities with Jacory Croskey-Merritt versus Miami.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Injures shoulder Sunday
Rotowire
Rodriguez hurt his shoulder during Sunday's game versus the Lions.
Rodriguez jogged to the locker room in the second half and eventually was termed questionable to return. If he stays off the field, he'll end Week 10 action with six carries for 16 yards and one touchdown while getting no targets in the passing game. Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols are the healthy and available running backs on the Commanders' active roster.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Leading rusher on SNF
Rotowire
Rodriguez recorded 12 rushes for 65 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Seahawks.
Rodriguez's final line was aided by garbage time, as he found the end zone and picked up 38 yards in the final eight minutes of game time. However, his role in the Washington offense is still noteworthy, as he was out-touched only 13-12 by Jacory Croskey-Merritt, a split that was only mildly skewed by opportunity late in the game. While Rodriguez isn't likely to take over lead-back duties in Week 10 against the Lions, it appears he may be in line for an increased role.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Just two snaps in Week 8
Rotowire
Rodriguez carried once for two yards while playing two of the Commanders' 53 snaps on offense in Monday's 28-7 loss to the Chiefs.
Rodriguez has now played single-digit snaps in three straight games, all of which were Commanders losses. As an early-down specialist, Rodriguez will likely have a role in grinding out the clock when the Commanders are sitting on a lead, but he's been almost entirely phased out of the game plan while Washington has been in tight games or has faced large deficits over the past three weeks.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: DNP at walkthrough
Rotowire
Rodriguez (calf) missed Wednesday's jog-through.
Rodriguez has been listed as a DNP on four straight injury reports due to a calf injury, but he logged one snap on offense and three on special teams during Monday's loss to the Bears. Jacory Croskey-Merritt (66 percent snap share) and Jeremy McNichols (32 percent) ultimately handled the rest of the backfield reps and likely will continue to do so moving forward, even when Rodriguez's health is back to normal.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Suiting up Monday
Rotowire
Rodriguez (calf) is active for Monday's game against the Bears.
Despite not practicing in any capacity due to a calf injury in advance of this contest, Rodriguez will be available to the Commanders offense, but in what role remains to be seen. Washington didn't elevate a running back from the practice squad Monday, instead opting to bring up two wide receivers to support a banged-up group, so Rodriguez seemingly has a good chance to mix into the backfield behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt along with Jeremy McNichols. In three prior outings with that trio available, Rodriguez racked up 23 carries for 105 yards and no touchdowns.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Listed as DNP on Friday
Rotowire
Rodriguez (calf) is listed as a non-participant on Friday's practice estimate.
Rodriguez didn't practice Thursday and apparently wouldn't have partaken Friday if the Commanders had held a practice. A return Saturday could still give him a chance to play Monday against the Bears, though all signs point to Jacory Croskey-Merritt leading Washington's backfield this week.
