Peasley was waived by the Jets on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports. New York has veterans Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor as its top two options at quarterback, and Peasley competed with Adrian Martinez for the No. 3 QB role during the preseason.
