Mac Jones will draw a second straight start in place of Lawrence, who is nursing an AC joint sprain to his left (non-throwing) shoulder. Though surgery on the shoulder could be a possibility at some point, for now, Lawrence looks to be planning on treating the injury with rest and rehab. After Sunday's contest, the Jaguars are on bye Week 12, and Pederson told Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union that he has optimism that Lawrence might be ready to return to action Week 13 against the Texans. The Jaguars aren't likely to provide another update on Lawrence's condition until the team resumes practicing coming out of the bye week.

Lawrence's final line was serviceable from a fantasy perspective as he generated his third straight two-touchdown-pass tally by connecting with Gabe Davis for scoring tosses of 21 and five yards. However, there were still too many stalled drives for the Jaguars, who punted on three consecutive first-half possessions following an opening-drive field goal. Lawrence did lead two long second-half marches that culminated in his touchdown strikes to Davis, but both came with Jacksonville facing a double-digit deficit. Lawrence's interception came in Jaguars territory as well and led to a Chicago touchdown, making it a lackluster real-world performance for the inconsistent 2021 first overall pick. He and the Jaguars will remain overseas for a Week 7 matchup against the Patriots at Wembley Stadium.

But that was a favorable matchup against the Colts, and this game against the Bears in London should be much tougher. Chicago is No. 1 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and only C.J. Stroud in Week 2 has scored double digits in Fantasy points against the Bears, who have two passing touchdowns allowed and six interceptions. Lawrence is only worth starting in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues.
The streaming options this week aren't great, but with four teams on a bye, Lawrence qualifies. This is a good matchup against a banged-up Colts defense, and Lawrence is coming off his first two-touchdown game of the season. This was a brutal schedule to start the season, but I still believe Lawrence's best football of 2024 is ahead of him.

He had only 16 yards at halftime, and each of his six passes of 20 or more yards came after the team trailed by two possessions. Lawrence has hit for big plays and displayed mediocre efficiency through two games, but he hasn't sustained a productive offense for the team and has only one touchdown as a result.

Lawrence will enter the 2024 season without the presence of Calvin Ridley, who is set to sign a four-year, $92 million contract with the Titans, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
Lawrence suited up for one less game last season after playing all 17 in 2022, but despite Ridley's presence atop the depth chart, he took a step back in terms of passing yards (4,016 vs. 4,113), touchdowns (21 vs. 25), and increased his interception total (14 vs. eight). That said, the loss of Ridley to free agency still represents a knock to Lawrence's prospects for 2024, especially with Zay Jones also being a speculated cap casualty. The addition of Gabe Davis from Buffalo, who joins Christian Kirk (groin), does something to mitigate those concerns, and the Jaguars still have plenty of time to make further moves in free agency or April's draft.
