Claybrooks has been suspended for eight games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
However, the report notes that Claybrooks' suspension time is deemed as served while he was on the Commissioner Exempt list last season. The free-agent cornerback is thus eligible to try out and/or sign with NFL teams going forward.
