  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Dozen grabs in wild-card win

Shakir caught all 12 of his targets for 82 yards in the Bills' 27-24 win over the Jaguars in the wild-card round Sunday. Josh Allen was completely in sync with his top target to begin Buffalo's playoff run, as no other Bills players got more than five targets or hauled in more than three passes. Shakir's dozen catches were a new single-game high for his career, regular season or postseason, while the 82 yards were his best showing since Week 12. The Bills won't know who they're playing in the divisional round until after the weekend's games are over, but Shakir figures to see high volume no matter who the opponent is.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Held out of Week 18 action

Shakir did not handle any snaps during Sunday's 35-8 win over the Jets. Shakir dressed for Week 18 but did not take the field as the Bills focused on keeping key players fresh for the playoffs. Across 16 regular-season appearances in 2025, Shakir secured 72 of 95 targets for 719 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing once for five yards and compiling 124 yards as a punt returner. Shakir will resume operating as the No. 1 wideout for Buffalo beginning with Sunday's wild-card matchup against Jacksonville.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: WRs to Sit

Shakir comes into Week 18 having scored 9.6 PPR points or less in four of his past five games, and he has one touchdown over that span. He also had one catch for 12 yards on two targets in Week 2 at the Jets. But the reason to sit Shakir in Week 18 is that Josh Allen might not play much with the Bills likely resting players for the playoffs. And even if Shakir remains in his usual role, I don't want to trust him with Mitch Trubisky at quarterback for the Bills. At best, Shakir is a low-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Solid PPR effort against PHI

Shakir finished with six receptions on seven targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Eagles. Shakir led all Buffalo receivers in targets and receptions Sunday, but a lack of explosive plays resulted in the wideout finishing third on the team in yardage. Veteran teammate Brandin Cooks (4-101-0) surprisingly finished as the team's leading receiver while WR Keon Coleman remained a healthy scratch for the second straight game. Shakir has provided value in PPR formats with 72 receptions through 16 starts, but his 719 receiving yards and four touchdowns leave much to be desired as a starting option in standard fantasy leagues.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: WRs to Sit

Shakir has scored 9.6 PPR points or less in three of his past four games, and he has one touchdown since Week 8. He also has five targets or less in four games in a row, and Josh Allen isn't leaning on Shakir like he did earlier in the season. We'll see if that changes in Week 17 against the Eagles, but Philadelphia is No. 7 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. I would only use Shakir as a low-end starter in three-receiver leagues.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Team-high yardage in win

Shakir secured four of five targets for 34 yards in the Bills' 23-20 win over the Browns on Sunday. He also returned one punt for three yards. Shakir led the Bills in receptions, receiving yards and targets, but on an afternoon when Josh Allen threw for just 130 yards, that top billing didn't equate to much useful fantasy production. The Bills' passing game has been spreading the ball out all season, much to the chagrin of fantasy managers, and Shakir will take a modest average of 10.4 yards per reception for the season going into a Week 17 home showdown against the Eagles next Sunday.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Gets into end zone in Sunday's win

Shakir caught two of three targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-34 win over the Bengals. The Bills' wideouts had even less to do than usual during a cold, snowy game in Buffalo, but Shakir managed to make an impact with an 11-yard TD grab from Josh Allen in the second quarter. It was Shakir's fourth TD of the season, tying his career high, but it was also the third time in the last four games the fourth-year WR failed to reach 20 receiving yards. Shakir will look for better playing conditions and more volume in Week 15 against the Patriots.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Sleeper WRs

Shakir has been bad in two of his past three games against Tampa Bay in Week 11 and Pittsburgh in Week 13, with 1.5 PPR points or less in each outing. Otherwise, Shakir has scored at least 11.3 PPR points in four of his past six starts, and I expect him to get back on track against the Bengals in Week 14. Surprisingly, this isn't an easy matchup since Cincinnati is No. 6 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, but hopefully Shakir can avoid cornerback DJ Turner for as much as possible. And if this game becomes a shootout between Josh Allen and Joe Burrow, then Shakir should have plenty of chances to make plays. I'll trust him as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Poor catch rate Sunday

Shakir had one reception on four targets for five yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Steelers. Shakir struggled with drops, finishing with a season-low catch rate of 25 percent against Pittsburgh's secondary. The four targets still led all Buffalo wide receivers as the team continues searching for reliable auxiliary targets for Josh Allen to throw to. Shakir was fresh off posting a 100-plus yard receiving game in the Week 12 box score, and he remains the top option on the perimeter despite Sunday's putrid effort. Fantasy managers are looking for a bounce-back effort from Shakir in a soft matchup against Cincinnati's defense next Sunday.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: WRs to Start

The Bills added Brandin Cooks this week, but he shouldn't impact Shakir, who is the only trustworthy receiver for Buffalo heading into this matchup at Pittsburgh. Shakir has scored at least 11.3 PPR points in four of his past five games, including Week 12 at Houston when he had eight catches for 110 yards on 10 targets. The Steelers are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and six guys in the past four games have scored at least 15.3 PPR points, with five touchdowns. I would start Shakir as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in this matchup.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Contrarian DFS Play

Shakir has eight or more targets in three of his last four games. He is facing a Pittsburgh defense that gives up the most PPR FPPG to opposing wide receivers. He should be a chalk play, but Shakir is never a chalk play.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Eclipses century mark in loss

Shakir secured eight of 10 targets for 110 yards in the Bills' 23-19 loss to the Texans on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble and returned four punts for 15 yards. Shakir led the Bills across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets, although a significant chunk of his yardage came on a hook-and-lateral play late in the fourth quarter in which he netted 33 yards after getting the ball from Joshua Palmer. Shakir also had a concussion check in the first half, per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com, but he was cleared to return shortly thereafter. The veteran wideout's totals were all season-high figures as well, affording Shakir some momentum heading into a Week 13 road matchup against the Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 30.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Shut down in big win

Shakir brought in one of three targets for minus-3 yards in the Bills' 44-32 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Shakir had no part in Josh Allen's breakout performance, which included 317 passing yards and three scoring tosses. The Bills' No. 1 receiver endured the worst game of his career given the negative yardage, and the downturn was particularly alarming when considering Shakir had produced a 20-189-1 line on 24 targets over the previous three games. The fourth-year pro will have an immediate yet challenging opportunity to put the forgettable day behind him, as the Bills travel to face the Texans on Thursday night to kick off Week 12.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Sleeper WRs

Shakir had another solid stat line in Week 10 at Miami with seven catches for 58 yards on nine targets, and he has now scored at least 11 PPR points in all but two games this season, including three in a row. While he has at least seven targets in three games in a row, he could see an uptick in production with Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) out, and this is a favorable matchup against Tampa Bay. Seven receivers have scored at least 14 PPR points against the Buccaneers in their past four games, and Shakir should be considered a solid No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Limited by ankle and ribs Thursday

Shakir (ankle/ribs) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Shakir was also listed as limited Wednesday and now has one more chance to practice fully ahead of Week 11 action. Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com, Shakir sported a red non-contact jersey Thursday. Shakir could wind up carrying a questionable designation into Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, but it would be an encouraging sign if he sheds the non-contact jersey Friday.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Slated to be limited Wednesday

Shakir (ribs) will be limited at practice Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network reports. Shakir logged a 66 percent snap share in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Dolphins while catching seven of his nine targets for 58 yards in the contest. The wideout's status will now need to be monitored ahead of this weekend's game against the Buccaneers. On the plus side from the Bills' perspective, fellow WR Joshua Palmer (knee/ankle) is on track to practice fully Wednesday.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Seven catches in Week 10 loss

Shakir secured seven of nine targets for 58 yards in the Bills' 30-13 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Shakir led the Bills in receptions, receiving yards and targets on a forgettable day for Buffalo's offense despite Josh Allen throwing for over 300 yards. Shakir posted a second consecutive seven-catch effort, and he's recorded at least six receptions in four of the last five contests overall, albeit while not topping 88 receiving yards at any point in that span. Shakir takes a 45-457-3 receiving line on 58 targets into a Week 11 home matchup against the Buccaneers.

  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Sleeper WRs

Shakir only scored 11.3 PPR points in Week 9 against Kansas City, but he had eight targets and finished with seven catches for 43 yards. He now has at least seven targets and six catches in three of his past four games, and he should continue to be a go-to option for Josh Allen heading into Week 10 at Miami. Shakir had four catches for 45 yards and a touchdown on four targets against the Dolphins in Week 3, and he has scored at least 11 PPR points in three of his past four meetings with Miami. Shakir should be considered a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues.
... See More ... See Less
  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Strong PPR effort Sunday

Shakir corralled seven of eight targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 28-21 win over Kansas City. Shakir led the Bills in targets and receptions while trailing only Dalton Kincaid (6-101-1) in receiving production Sunday. The 25-year-old Shakir was unable to replicate last week's trip to the end zone, but he still provided a solid score for those in PPR formats. Shakir will carry a 38-399-3 receiving line into next Sunday's tilt against Miami, providing a managers with a reliable flex option for Week 10.
... See More ... See Less
  • Bills' Khalil Shakir: Sleeper WRs

Shakir faced the Chiefs in Week 11 last year in Buffalo and had eight catches for 70 yards on 12 targets. He comes into the rematch in Week 9 having scored at least 11 PPR points in four of his past five games, including three outings with at least 14.5 PPR points over that span. Kansas City has allowed one receiver to score at least 12 PPR points in four of the past five games, and Shakir is the likely candidate in Buffalo to add to that total in Week 9. I like Shakir as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.
