  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Leading rusher on 13 carries

Walker rushed 13 times for 56 yards and caught three of four targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over Minnesota. Walker showed no ill effects from the glute injury that limited him during the practice week, finishing as the team's leading rusher and steamrolling DB Isaiah Rodgers on a second-half carry for good measure. Zach Charbonnet (14-52-1) did vulture a touchdown from Seattle's starter, but a significant portion of the backup's work came in garbage time of the shutout victory. Walker continues to be a consistent runner in fantasy, recording at least 50 rushing yards in eight of his 12 starts this season. The 24-year-old has just one rushing touchdown since Week 3, so Walker's fantasy managers are hoping for more work around the goal line against the Falcons next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Good to go

Walker (glute) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Minnesota, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. He played through the same injury last week and handled a season-high 67 percent snap share, continuing a recent trend of Walker taking the lion's share of Seattle's backfield work. Zach Charbonnet took only six carries last week, but he remains a threat for both goal-line carries and passing-down snaps, which often forces Walker to earn his fantasy points the hard way.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Limited again Thursday

Walker (glute) was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. This follows Walker's capped practice Wednesday, giving him just one more chance to prove the health of his glute Friday before the Seahawks potentially tag him with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Vikings. Over the last four games, Walker has recorded 61 touches for 343 yards from scrimmage and one TD, while fellow RB Zach Charbonnet hasn't been too far behind him with 42 touches for 211 total yards and two TDs.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker III: RBs to Start

Mike Macdonald said prior to Seattle's game in Week 12 at Tennessee that Walker would start getting more work, and he played a season-high 63 percent of the snaps. He finished with 11 carries for 71 yards and three catches for 30 yards on four targets, and I love that he has six catches on seven targets in his past two outings. He lost another rushing touchdown to Zach Charbonnet against the Titans, but Walker should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues against Minnesota in Week 13. The Vikings have allowed the past three opposing backfields of Baltimore, Chicago and Green Bay to combine for at least 108 rushing yards and a touchdown in each game, and Walker is trending in the right direction heading into this matchup.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Limited Wednesday

Walker was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a glute injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Since the Seahawks' Week 8 bye, Walker has continued to be the 1A in the team's backfield over Zach Charbonnet over the last four contests. Walker has turned 61 touches into 343 yards from scrimmage and one TD during that span, while Charbonnet has notched 42 touches for 211 total yards and two TDs. Walker has a health concern to contend with this week, but he'll have two more chances to get back to full before Seattle potentially tags him with a designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Tops 100 scrimmage yards again

Walker rushed the ball 11 times for 71 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Titans. He added three receptions on four targets for 30 yards. Walker suffered a glute injury late in the week and entered Sunday with a questionable tag, though he still comfortably led Seattle's backfield with 14 touches as compared to six for Zach Charbonnet. As has often been the case, Walker was the more efficient back, with four of his 11 carries going for more than 10 yards. He also remained more involved as a pass catcher, logging three catches for the second consecutive game and for the third time this season. The only downside to Walker's performance came around the goal line, as he was stuffed from the two-yard line and then ceded an opportunity from the five to Charbonnet later in the game. Overall, it was still a positive performance for Walker as he topped 100 yards from scrimmage for the second consecutive contest.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Officially active

Walker (glute) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans. Head coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism that Walker would suit up and reports earlier in the weekend suggested the same. Walker's status is now official after he popped up on the injury report Friday. It's unclear whether his workload will be affected, as Zach Charbonnet has cut significantly into Walker's opportunities even when Walker has been fully healthy.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Remains lined up to play Week 12

Walker (glute), who is questionable for Sunday's matchup against Tennessee, is expected to suit up, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Schefter's report aligns with what Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald previously said Friday, when he intimated that Walker was in line to play Sunday despite dealing with a glute injury. Though Walker is expected to be formally cleared when the Seahawks release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, it's unclear if the glute issue will result in him ceding more snaps to fellow tailback Zach Charbonnet. As it is, Walker and Charbonnet have been working in a fairly even timeshare for most of the season. During last week's loss to the Rams, Walker tallied 42 offensive snaps to Charbonnet's 36, though Walker was far more productive with 111 yards from scrimmage to Charbonnet's 47.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Expected to play

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Walker (glute) is expected to play Sunday at Tennessee despite being added to the injury report and listed as questionable, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. An end-of-week addition to the injury report isn't what Walker's fantasy managers want to see, especially ahead of a favorable matchup with arguably the worst team in the NFL. Macdonald downplayed any concerns after Friday's practice, saying Walker's limited practice workload Friday was more about maintenance than anything that might impact the running back's Week 12 availability, per Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune. Still, fantasy mangers will want to make sure Walker isn't on the inactive list 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker III: RBs to Start

Walker finally had a solid game in Week 11 at the Rams with 16 carries for 67 yards and a touchdown and three catches for 44 yards on three targets. This was his first touchdown since Week 3, and it was his most receiving yards of the season. Mike Macdonald said Monday that "Ken's showing that he's earning more opportunities to get the ball," and we hope that happens against the Titans, who are No. 8 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Seven running backs have scored at least 14.8 PPR points against Tennessee this season, with 14 total touchdowns, and Walker should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy running back in the majority of leagues. I also like Zach Charbonnet as a flex given the matchup, but this should be the Walker show if Macdonald is true to his word.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Scores while going over 100 yards

Walker rushed 16 times for 67 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes on as many targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams. Walker was one of the few bright spots for Seattle on Sunday, scoring the team's only touchdown on offense while reaching the century mark in combined yards for the third time this season. The 24-year-old is up to 606 rushing yards through 10 games, surpassing the 573 yards he posted in 2024 on 18 fewer carries. Walker's improved efficiency on the ground (4.5 YPC) has helped stave off Zach Charbonnet from encroaching on the veteran's starting job. The latter was held to 47 yards on 13 combined touches Sunday, further cementing Walker as the preferred fantasy option heading into next Sunday's road tilt against Tennessee.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker III: RBs to Sit

Walker had another frustrating Fantasy outing in Week 10 against Arizona with 14 carries for 67 yards and one catch for 3 yards on one target. He's now scored 8.1 PPR points or less in four games in a row, and he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 3. Over that same span, Zach Charbonnet has scored five touchdowns, and even third-stringer George Holani got into the end zone against the Cardinals last week. This week, Walker has to face the Rams, who are No. 1 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. The Rams have allowed one rushing touchdown to a running back this season, and Walker is a flex option at best in the majority of leagues in this matchup.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Gains 70 yards Sunday

Walker rushed 14 times for 67 yards while catching his only target for three yards in Sunday's 44-22 win over Arizona. Walker averaged a healthy 4.8 yards per tote Sunday, but his managers might be feeling let down after seeing backups Zach Charbonnet (14-83-1) and George Holani (7-31-1) cash in both of Seattle's rushing scores. The 24-year-old Walker's 120 carries still leads Seattle through nine games, but he has been held out of the end zone since Week 3. Walker is still generating solid rushing totals as the Seahawks' lead back, with managers hoping for a return to his scoring ways against the Rams next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker III: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Walker scored 12 PPR points in Week 4 at Arizona, which is the last time he reached double digits in Fantasy points. He had 19 carries for 81 yards and one catch for 29 yards on two targets in that game, and we're waiting for him to get back to even that level of production. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 3, and he has three games in his past four outings with 11 carries or less, with 9.6 PPR points or less his production over that span. Zach Charbonnet continues to steal touchdowns from Walker, and he's only worth using as a flex option in the majority of leagues in Week 10.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Leading rusher on 17 carries

Walker took 17 carries for 66 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Monday's 27-19 win over Houston. Walked finished as the Seahawks' leading rusher with a team-high number of rushes on Monday Night Football. However, fellow RB Zach Charbonnet cashed in on a pair of goal-line carries en route to a 12-49-2 rushing line. Walker still is providing more volume out of Seattle's backfield through seven weeks, generating 430 rushing yards off of a career-best 4.7 YPC with three trips to the end zone himself. Both talented rushers will be worth starting in fantasy when the Seahawks return from the upcoming bye week to face the Commanders on Sunday, Nov. 2.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker III: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Walker continues to lose touches to Zach Charbonnet, and it's hard to trust Walker as a No. 2 running back in the majority of leagues heading into Week 7 against Houston. At best, he's a flex option, and Walker has just 11 total touches in each of his past two games against Tampa Bay and Jacksonville. Charbonnet continues to steal touchdown chances from Walker, and Walker hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 3. Walker also has just one catch in five games in a row, with only six targets over that span. Houston is No. 9 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and the Texans have held Tony Pollard and Derrick Henry to 10.6 PPR points or less in each of the past two games. I'm still hopeful the Seahawks will realize Walker deserves more touches moving forward, but based on his split with Charbonnet and the matchup this week, it's hard to start Walker in the majority of leagues.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Does little with 11 touches

Walker rushed 10 times for 34 yards and brought in his only target for three yards in the Seahawks' 20-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Walker logged two fewer carries than Zach Charbonnet, but he outgained his teammate by 10 rushing yards, as neither back was particularly efficient during the defense-centric battle. The fourth-year pro's yardage total represented quite the downturn after he'd topped the 80-yard mark in each of the previous two games, and Charbonnet's workload is somewhat of a concern for the moment for Walker's fantasy managers. It remains to be seen if a similar timeshare will apply moving forward, but neither player has a particularly bright outlook for a Week 7 home matchup against a tough Texans defense on Monday night, Oct. 20.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Leading rusher on 10 carries

Walker took 10 carries for 86 yards while catching one pass for no gain in Sunday's 38-35 loss to Tampa Bay. Walker led Seattle in both carries and rushing production in Week 5, but it was backfield mate Zach Charbonnet (9-36-1) who cashed in the team's only rushing score in the loss. The touch distribution was far closer this time around compared to last week's seven-carry difference in the latter's return from injury, confirming the timeshare that exists when both runners are at full strength. Both players are worthy of flex spots in Week 6, even in a timeshare, with Walker being the preferred option for his early-down usage.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Efficient in dual roles Thursday

Walker rushed 19 times for 81 yards and secured one of two targets for 29 yards in the Seahawks' 23-20 win over the Cardinals on Thursday night. The Seahawks welcomed back Zach Charbonnet from a one-game absence due to a foot injury Thursday, but Walker still saw seven more carries than his teammate while equaling his target tally. Walker had a long run of just 21 yards, so he worked hard for his yardage throughout the night and also turned in a chunk gain on his one catch. Walker now has alternated two duds on the ground with a pair of above-average yardage totals, and he's added at least one reception in each game as well. Thursday night's usage seems to indicate Walker might be considered the lead back over Charbonnet heading into a Week 5 home matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 5.
... See More ... See Less
  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Hits pay dirt twice Sunday

Walker took 16 carries for 38 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding one reception for 12 yards in Sunday's 44-13 rout of the Saints. Walker punched in a pair of short touchdowns early on to help build a 38-6 lead over the Saints at halftime. The 24-year-old has bounced back nicely from a Week 1 dud against San Francisco (10-20-0), generating 143 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the two starts since. The Seahawks were without the services of RB Zach Charbonnet (foot) on Sunday, and a similar situation could unfold in Week 4 with a short practice week on tap ahead of Thursday Night Football. Walker would still generate flex value if Charbonnet is able to suit up against Arizona, but the former would see a huge boost in fantasy value if his backfield mate remains sidelined.
