  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Totals 25 yards

Strange caught two of three targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 12-7 loss to Minnesota. Strange finished second on the team in receiving yards, though that's not saying much on a day when fill-in quarterback Mac Jones threw for only 111 yards. The 2023 second-round pick has been occasionally involved in the passing game since the return of starter Evan Engram, but Strange shouldn't be on the fantasy radar while Engram is healthy.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: No targets in loss

Strange played nine offensive snaps and wasn't targeted during Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Eagles. The 23-year-old secured a career-high five receptions Week 8 against the Packers, but he was out-snapped by No. 3 tight end Luke Farrell in Sunday's loss. Strange may be occasionally involved in the passing game when Evan Engram is healthy but doesn't have a consistent enough role for fantasy consideration.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Cashes in all five targets Sunday

Strange corralled all five of his targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Packers. Strange finished with the most receptions for the Jaguars on Sunday, but it was fellow tight end Evan Engram who produced the better fantasy line (4-36-1). Strange has provided low-end fantasy value as a sophomore and should be treated as such heading into next Sunday's road tilt against the Eagles.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: No targets in win

Strange did not draw any targets in Sunday's 32-16 win against the Patriots. The Jaguars were able to leverage a very run-heavy attack offensively in Week 7, so Strange's snap count (27) actually lagged behind that of blocking specialist Luke Farrell (30). As long as Evan Engram is healthy, Strange won't be anything more than a fantasy dart throw.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Two targets in Engram's return

Strange caught one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 35-16 loss to the Bears. Strange faded back into obscurity as Evan Engram returned from a hamstring injury and led the Jaguars with 10 catches for 102 yards. Strange saw an end-zone target despite Engram's presence, but the 2023 second-round pick will be tough to rely on from a fantasy standpoint now that he's back in a No. 2 role.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Sleeper TEs

We'll see if Evan Engram (hamstring) can return in Week 5 against the Colts, but if he remains out then consider Strange a low-end starter in all leagues. Indianapolis has allowed a tight end to score at least 16.7 PPR points in each of the past two games against Cole Kmet and Pat Freiermuth, and Strange has scored at least 9.2 PPR points in two of three outings in place of Engram, including one touchdown over that span.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

We'll see if Evan Engram (hamstring) can return in Week 5 against the Colts, but if he remains out then consider Strange a low-end starter in all leagues. Indianapolis has allowed a tight end to score at least 16.7 PPR points in each of the past two games against Cole Kmet and Pat Freiermuth, and Strange has scored at least 9.2 PPR points in two of three outings in place of Engram, including one touchdown over that span.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Brings in three targets

Strange secured all three of his targets for 19 yards during Sunday's' 24-20 loss to the Texans. Strange has drawn three straight starts at tight end with Evan Engram (hamstring) sidelined, and has been the busier pass-catcher over Luke Farrell (zero catches, one target versus Houston). In that span, Strange has caught eight of 14 targets for 96 yards and one score. If Engram is able to get back on the field against the Colts in Week 5, however, Strange figures to return to a depth role.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Week 4 Streamers (TE Preview)

In two games without Evan Engram, Strange has a 15% target share, and he ranks as a top-10 tight end with 9.4 PPR FPPG. Watch the injury report closely, but if Engram is out again, Strange is a fine streamer.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Scores second career TD

Strange secured two of five targets for 12 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 47-10 loss to the Bills on Monday night. The second-year tight end capped off the opening possession of the second half with a six-yard touchdown grab, his second career score. Strange was coming off a career-best 3-65-0 line on six targets against the Browns in Week 2, and he and Luke Farrell once again helped make up for the absence of Evan Engram (hamstring) on Monday night. If Engram is able to suit up for Sunday's Week 4 road clash against the Texans, both reserve tight ends figure to return to fantasy irrelevance except in very deep formats.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Sleeper TEs

Evan Engram (hamstring) is expected to be out again in Week 3 at Buffalo, which should allow Strange to have another prominent role for the Jaguars. In Week 2 against Cleveland with Engram out, Strange had six targets from Trevor Lawrence and caught three passes for 65 yards. Jacksonville will likely be chasing points in this game, and Lawrence will need reliable targets. He seems to like Strange, and he's worth using as a flier in deeper leagues in place of Engram.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Week 3 Waiver Priority List

We'll see if Evan Engram (hamstring) can play in Week 3 at Buffalo, but if he's out again, then Strange can be an option in deeper leagues. In Week 2 against Cleveland, Strange had a career day with three catches for 65 yards on six targets. Keep an eye on Engram during the week, but Strange is worth adding in deeper formats for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: No targets Week 1

Strange wasn't targeted during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Dolphins. The 2023 second-round pick out-snapped Luke Farrell 19 to 14 on offense, but starter Evan Engram was the only Jacksonville tight end to be involved in the passing game. Strange caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games as a rookie last year, and he's again opened 2024 in a minor role.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Uneventful rookie campaign

Strange finished the season with five catches on nine targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games. The rookie second-round pick's first year in the NFL wasn't a particularly notable one, as he worked as Jacksonville's No. 3 tight end. Both Evan Engram and Luke Farrell remain under contract in 2024, but the latter is primarily a blocking tight end. Given the draft capital used to acquire Strange, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him move into a larger role next year.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Active Sunday

Strange (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. The tight end missed the Jaguars' last three games and was limited in practice throughout the week. Strange enters Sunday's contest as Jacksonville's third tight end behind Evan Engram and Luke Farrell. Strange has four catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on 246 offensive snaps this season.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Inactive against Baltimore

Strange (foot) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Strange was questionable for Sunday's matchup but will be forced to miss a third consecutive game due to his foot injury. However, he was a limited participant in practice all week, and it's possible he returns to action soon.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Limited to begin Week 15 prep

Strange (foot) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. Strange has missed the Jaguars' past two games due to a foot injury, and he didn't practice at all last week. His ability to get in a limited session on the first day of Week 15 prep suggests that he's making progress, but the tight end's chance of returning to action against Baltimore on Sunday could hinge on how much he's able to practice the rest of the week. When healthy, Strange has had a fairly significant role as a blocker, but he's totaled just four catches on seven targets for 34 yards and one touchdown over 11 games.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Officially out for Sunday

Strange (foot) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns. Head coach Doug Peterson told reporters Friday that Strange wasn't expected to suit up this weekend, and he's since been officially ruled out for Sunday's affair. With Strange missing his second consecutive game Week 14, Luke Farrell will serve as the Jaguars' lone backup tight end behind Evan Engram.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Unlikely to face Browns

Coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Strange (foot) is not expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Browns, John Shipley of SI.com reports. Strange couldn't play Monday versus the Bengals, and he will now likely have to miss a second straight contest. If Strange can't play Sunday, his next chance to take the field will come Week 15 versus Baltimore.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Not over injury

Strange (toe) was a nonparticipant during practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Strange was unable to suit up Monday against the Bengals, and the rookie tight end continues to be sidelined as the team turns its focus toward Week 14. The Penn State product will have another opportunity to get back on the field Thursday, which he may need to make happen if he's going to suit up Sunday against the Browns.
