  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Set to suit up

Thomas (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Super Bowl LX, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Thomas upgraded to full participation in Friday's practice after being a limited participant earlier in the week. The linebacker sustained a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's NFC Championship Game victory over the Rams, but he appears to have returned to full health. Thomas will have another week to recover before taking the field against the Patriots on Sunday, Feb. 8.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Limited in Thursday's walkthrough

Thomas (shoulder) was a limited participant during Thursday's walkthrough, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Thomas continues to recover from a shoulder injury that he sustained during the fourth quarter of the Seahawks' NFC Championship Game victory over the Rams on Sunday, when he logged six tackles (one solo). Super Bowl LX doesn't take place until Sunday, Feb. 8, so Thomas will have additional time to recover from his injury before facing the Patriots.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Still nursing shoulder issue

Thomas (shoulder) was estimated as a limited practice participant on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Thomas' shoulder was banged up during the final two minutes of the NFC Championship Game, and the injury is still bugging him as Seattle begins prepping for the Super Bowl. With fellow starting linebacker Ernest Jones dealing with a chest injury, Thomas' health could be crucial against a run-first Patriots offense.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Leaves game with shoulder injury

Thomas (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Rams. Thomas is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return, though the game is in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter. Tyrice Knight and Boye Mafe would be in line for more snaps at linebacker should the Seahawks' defense take the field down the stretch.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Career-high 13 stops in OT win

Thomas posted 13 tackles (six solo) during the Seahawks' 38-37 overtime win over the Rams on Thursday. Thomas led both teams Thursday with a career-high 13 stops, which was almost as many as he accumulated over the three games prior to Week 16 (15 combined tackles). He is now up to 86 combined tackles through 15 regular-season games, with 54 of his stops coming in the eight games since the Seahawks' Week 8 bye. Thomas will have two more opportunities to reach the tackling century mark for the first time in his career, starting with Week 17 against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 28.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Gets first career fumble recovery

Thomas recorded one tackle (one solo) and a fumble recovery during Sunday's 21-19 loss against the Rams. Thomas' tackle total in Week 11 was his lowest since Week 2, but he partially salvaged the day by scooping up a Puka Nacua fumble early in the third quarter to set up a Seahawks field goal. Owing to a recent uptick in playing time, he's firmly on the IDP radar going into a Week 12 tilt at Tennessee.

  • Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Moves to IR

Seattle placed Thomas (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports. Thomas twisted his knee late in Sunday's Week 9 loss to Baltimore, and the injury is apparently severe enough to keep him out of at least the next four games. The rookie linebacker has logged just four defensive snaps across seven contests this season, but he's been a key special teamer for the Seahawks. Thomas isn't eligible to be activated until Sunday, Dec. 10 for a matchup with the 49ers in San Francisco.
