  • 49ers' Drake Jackson: Moved to reserve/PUP list

    The 49ers placed Jackson on the reserve/PUP list with a knee injury Thursday and is expected to miss the 2024 season, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Jackson missed the final 12 games of last season, including playoffs, due to a knee injury. The 2022 second-round pick out of USC opened training camp on the active/PUP list, and his move to the reserve/PUP list is expected to result in a season-long absence, per Yates. Jackson played in 23 regular-season games over the last two campaigns, accumulating 21 tackles (12 solo), including 6.0 sacks, along with nine passes defended and one interception.

  • 49ers' Drake Jackson: Moves to IR

    Jackson (knee) was placed on injured reserve by the 49ers on Saturday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports. Jackson practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday before missing Friday's session. The second-year pro has recorded seven tackles, including 3.0 sacks, and a pass defensed in eight games this season.
