  • Seahawks' Nehemiah Pritchett: Registers INT in preseason

Pritchett recorded four solo tackles and two pass breakups, including an interception, in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie versus the Raiders. Pritchett started the game and played until the beginning of the third quarter, picking off Aidan O'Connell late in the second quarter. The 2024 fifth-round pick is expected to play a reserve role this season with starters Riq Woolen, Devon Witherspoon and Josh Jobe slated for starting roles.

  • Seahawks' Nehemiah Pritchett: Ready to go for Week 9

Pritchett (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's matchup with the Rams, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Princhett will make his return to the field in Week 9 after missing the team's loss to the Bills in Week 8 with an ankle injury. The 23-year-old will be back in his role as a depth option behind Riq Woolen and Tre Brown at cornerback against Los Angeles.

  • Seahawks' Nehemiah Pritchett: Inactive for Week 8

Pritchett (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against Buffalo. Pritchett logged a practice week of DNP/LP/DNP due to an ankle injury, which earned him a questionable tag ahead of Sunday's contest. The injury is severe enough for Pritchett to be sidelined, which leaves Josh Jobe as the Seahawks' top backup corner for Sunday's contest behind starters Tre Brown and Riq Woolen.

  • Seahawks' Nehemiah Pritchett: Activated off NFI list

The Seahawks activated Pritchett (undisclosed) off the active/non-football injury list Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. The rookie cornerback out of Auburn was dealing with some form of injury, but he's now passed his physical and is eligible to take part in training camp. Pritchett will likely be competing for a depth role in the Seahawks' secondary now that he's returned to full health.

  • Seahawks' Nehemiah Pritchett: Seattle selects in fifth round

The Seahawks selected Pritchett in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 136th overall. Pete Carroll is no longer the coach in Seattle, but the Seahawks are still drafting Carroll-style corners. Pritchett (6-feet, 190 pounds) has a good Cover-3 profile as a boundary corner thanks to his height, speed (4.36-second 40) and reach (31 and 5/8-inch arms), and he looks like a potential steal for Seattle this late. Pritchett was a four-year starter (as a five-year player) at Auburn and was a leading contributor on respectable pass defenses each of those four years.
