  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Modest production in Week 18

Thomas recorded three receptions on five targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 41-7 win over the Titans. Thomas was involved in the game early, earning three targets on the team's first four offensive possessions. However, he then exited the game to be evaluated for a concussion and missed nearly the entire second quarter. Jacksonville then pulled its starters early in the fourth quarter, meaning Thomas played only around half of the game. While that would explain his limited output, this was one of Thomas' more productive performances of late, marking only the third time in his last six matchups that he's topped 40 receiving yards. It was a very disappointing sophomore campaign for Thomas, as he ended the regular season with 707 receiving yards and only two touchdowns across 14 games.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Cleared to return Sunday

After being evaluated for a potential concussion, Thomas was cleared to return to Sunday's game against the Titans. Good news for the Jaguars in Week 18, with the team headed to the postseason. Prior to leaving the contest, the wideout had caught one of his two targets for 22 yards.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Exits Sunday's game

Thomas is being evaluated for a potential concussion during Sunday's game against the Titans, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Before that, Thomas caught one of his two targets in the contest for 22 yards. While he's sidelined, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington, Tim Patrick and Dyami Brown will handle the Jaguars' Week 18 WR duties.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr.: Sleeper WRs

Thomas struggled in the past two games against Denver and Indianapolis, with six catches for 57 yards and no touchdowns on 10 targets, and he dealt with tough coverage in those matchups from Patrick Surtain II and Sauce Gardner. Thomas faces the Titans in Week 18, and Tennessee is No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. I like Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers better than Thomas, but he's worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. Prior to Week 16, Thomas had consecutive games against the Colts and Jets where he combined for seven catches for 153 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets, and he should get back to that level of production against the Titans.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Out-targeted by two other WRs

Thomas caught four of seven targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 23-17 win over the Colts. Thomas tied Jakobi Meyers for third on the Jaguars in receiving yards behind Parker Washington (115) and Brenton Strange (54). Washington paced the team with 10 targets for the second consecutive game and Thomas was also out-targeted, 9-7, by Meyers. Thomas has struggled to find consistency while working as part of a crowded pass-catching group in Jacksonville, though there could be plenty of production to go around in Week 18, when the 12-4 Jaguars can clinch the AFC South by beating the 3-13 Titans.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr.: Sleeper WRs

Thomas was shut down in Week 16 at Denver with two catches for 18 yards on three targets. Prior to that, he was playing better with seven catches for 153 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in two games against the Colts and Jets. I expect him to get back on track at Indianapolis, and the Colts are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. Thomas also has 15 catches for 312 yards and a touchdown on 25 targets in three career games against Indianapolis. All three Jaguars receivers are worth a look in this matchup, and I like Jakobi Meyers as a low-end No. 2 Fantasy receiver, with Parker Washington as a high-end No. 3 option. Thomas is also a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver, and this should be one of his better games this year.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr.: Contrarian DFS Play

Thomas has a fantastic matchup, but most Fantasy managers are going to be more interested in Jakobi Meyers or Parker Washington. If you want to make your Trevor Lawrence lineups just a little more contrarian, stack him with Thomas instead. His route depth has exploded since he came back, which makes him more inconsistent but also gives him the potential to make huge plays if he and Trevor Lawrence hit just a couple of passes.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr.: WRs to Sit

Thomas had one of his best games this season in Week 15 against the Jets with four catches for 66 yards and a touchdown on seven targets, and he scored 17.1 PPR points. But I'm not willing to start him in Week 16 at Denver, and he could see plenty of standout cornerback Patrick Surtain II. The Broncos are No. 10 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and Denver has allowed only five touchdowns to the position this season, which leads the NFL. I'll still use Jakobi Meyers as a starter in three-receiver leagues, and he has scored at least 11.4 PPR points in five games in a row. But Thomas is only worth a look in deeper formats in this matchup.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Opens scoring in win over Jets

Thomas caught four of seven targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 48-20 win over the Jets. He also rushed once for five yards. Thomas capped the opening drive with a four-yard touchdown catch. Trevor Lawrence threw four more touchdown passes, but each of those went to running backs. Jakobi Meyers had five more receiving yards than Thomas while tying for the team lead in targets, but both receivers have been productive the past couple games while catching passes from the locked-in Lawrence. Thomas will face a tough test in Week 16 against Patrick Surtain and the Broncos.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Makes splash plays

Thomas recorded three catches on six targets for 87 yards in Sunday's 36-19 win over the Colts. Jakobi Meyers led the Jaguars in targets, but Thomas delivered several big plays to pace Jacksonville in yardage. He made a particularly impressive one-handed catch down the right sideline late in the first quarter for a 39-yard gain -- his longest of the day. Thomas' other two catches went for 30 and 18 yards, giving him his highest yardage total since Week 6. While he's had a disappointing season, Thomas has a strong chance to remain on track heading into a favorable Week 15 matchup against the Jets.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Two catches in return

Thomas recorded two receptions on three targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 25-3 win over the Titans. Thomas returned from a three-game absence caused by an ankle injury, but his disappointing season continued. The Jaguars were able to rely relatively heavily on their run game while playing with at least a two-score lead for most of the game, but Thomas still finished tied for third on the team in targets. While he converted receptions of 17 and 11 yards, Thomas has now been held below 50 receiving yards in five of his nine games on the campaign.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Logs full practice Thursday

Thomas (ankle) practiced fully Thursday. This past Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network indicated that Thomas -- who last played in Week 9 -- had a good chance to return to action in Week 13 versus the Titans, and the wideout's return to a full practice Thursday paves the way for that to occur. In the eight contests he's been available for, Thomas has recorded a 30-420-1 line on 60 targets, a pace down from his strong level of output in 2024, yet enough to make the Jaguars' top WR worthy of fantasy lineup consideration in his looming return to the lineup.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Remains limited at practice

Thomas (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday. In reference to Thomas' chances of returning to action Sunday against the the Titans, coach Liam Coen noted Wednesday that the Jaguars will take it "day-by-day" with the wideout, who last saw game action in Week 9, per Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville. If Thomas remains out or is limited Sunday against the Titans, Tim Patrick would a candidate to log added Week 13 snaps alongside fellow WRs Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Good chance for Week 13 return

Thomas (ankle), who won't play Sunday against the Cardinals, has a good chance to return to action in Week 13 versus the Titans, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Per Pelissero, Thomas -- who last played in Week 9 -- is getting close to a return after having logged limited three straight limited practices ahead of Week 12 action. In his absence versus Arizona, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Tim Patrick are on track to lead the Jaguars WR corps.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Won't play Sunday

Thomas (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Though Thomas was able to practice in a limited fashion this week, he'll still miss his third straight game. In Thomas' continued absence this weekend, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Tim Patrick are in line to lead Jacksonville's Week 12 WR corps. Thomas' next chance to see game action will be Sunday, Nov. 30 against the Titans.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Unlikely to play Sunday

Thomas (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, is not expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Thomas logged a trio of limited practices this week as he tries to return from the ankle injury he suffered in a Week 9 win over Las Vegas. Despite the step forward in practice activity from the week before, Thomas still looks poised to miss a second straight contest to give his ankle more time to heal. Assuming Thomas is inactive, Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers are likely to work as the Jaguars' top two wideouts, with Dyami Brown slated for the No. 3 role. Thomas' ability to practice three times in limited fashion this week suggests that he has at least a decent chance of returning in Week 12 versus Arizona on Nov. 23.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Another limited practice

Thomas (ankle) remained limited at practice Thursday. Fellow WR Parker Washington (hamstring) also was limited Thursday, with Friday's final injury report slated to reveal the duo's game statuses ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. Prior to being inactive Week 10, Thomas recorded a 30-420-1 line on 60 targets through eight contests.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Limited in return to practice

Thomas (ankle) returned to a limited practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Thomas didn't practice last week before being ruled out for this past Sunday's loss to the Texans, so his return to a limited session Wednesday offers hope that the wideout can play this weekend against the Chargers. However, unless Thomas is able to practice fully by Friday, he figures to carry a Week 11 injury designation. Meanwhile, fellow WR Parker Washington -- who has been targeted 26 times in his last three games -- missed Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Not practicing Thursday

Thomas (ankle) wasn't present for Thursday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Thomas also logged a 'DNP' on Wednesday, with the wideout's ankle issue now his only listed injury ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. Adam Schefter of ESPN previously noted that Thomas -- who is reportedly dealing with a low-grade high ankle sprain -- has a chance to play this weekend, but for that to be possible, he'll likely need to practice in some capacity Friday.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Cleared to play Sunday

Thomas (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders after being limited in practice this week. With Travis Hunter (knee) on IR and slated to miss at least four games, the Jaguars will need all they can get from Thomas in the coming weeks, as he's slated to lead a WR corps that will also features Dyami Brown and Parker Washington. Through seven games, Thomas -- who caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 TDs as a rookie last season -- has logged a less impressive 27-365-1 line on 55 targets, but as long as he's not hampered too much by the shoulder issue he's currently managing, he should be busy this weekend and beyond.
