  • Dominic Richardson: Reaches injury settlement with Jets

    The Jets waived Richardson (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Richardson went to the Jets' IR after taking five rushes for 13 yards in their preseason finale, but he's now on track to hit free agency. In his last season at Tulsa in 2025, he took 212 carries for 1,065 yards and five touchdowns.

    Richardson (undisclosed) reverted to the Jets' injured-reserve list Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction log. The running back was waived/injured Sunday after playing in the Jets' preseason game Friday against the Giants, in which he ran five times for 13 yards. Richardson was also waived by the Titans on Aug. 19. He will need to reach an injury settlement with New York to have a chance to play in 2026.

    The Jets waived/injured Richardson (undisclosed) on Sunday, Eric Allen and Amanda Vogt of the team's official site report. Richardson signed with the Jets last Sunday after being waived by the Titans on Aug. 19. The running back played in Friday's preseason finale against the Giants, rushing five times for 13 yards. Richardson likely picked up his injury in the contest, and if he clears waivers he will revert to the team's injury reserve list for the entirety of the 2026 regular season. The 25-year-old will need to reach an injury settlement with the Titans to be able to play for another team.
