Horton signed with the Colts in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue. The wide receiver is likely no longer necessary now that Josh Downs is healthy and practicing. Horton will be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any team.

The Colts signed Horton as an undrafted free agent Thursday.
Horton finished his collegiate career at Purdue in 2025, catching 27 of 49 targets for 289 yards over 11 contests. The wide receiver will look to make a strong impression on the Colts during the team's rookie minicamp beginning Friday.
