Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Gets starting nod against Blues
Knight will be between the pipes at home versus St. Louis on Wednesday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.
Knight has struggled for wins over his last 10 outings, posting a 3-6-1 record despite a 2.92 GAA and an .890 save percentage. Still, the 24-year-old netminder should be capable of getting over the 20-win mark for the first time in his career this campaign. With an upcoming back-to-back, Knight should feature against either the Capitals or Predators on Friday or Saturday, respectively, with Arvid Soderblom taking the other game.

Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Upgraded to day-to-day
Bedard (shoulder) won't be in the lineup versus St. Louis on Wednesday but is considered day-to-day after that, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Bedard was originally ruled out until January and was expected back before the Olympic break, though that leaves a wide range of possible return dates. The fact that the young phenom is moving into the day-to-day category should be an indication that he'll be back as the Hawks' first-line center sooner rather than later.

Blackhawks' Andre Burakovsky: Supplies two more assists
Burakovsky notched two assists and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Burakovsky has five helpers over his last three games, though his two Sunday came at even strength rather than on the power play like the previous three. The 30-year-old winger is clicking with Tyler Bertuzzi on the top line currently, and they'll be leaned on heavily while the Blackhawks are thin at forward due to injuries. Burakovsky is up to 28 points, 49 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 37 appearances this season.

Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi: Hat trick carries offense Sunday
Bertuzzi scored three goals on five shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Bertuzzi had goals in the first and third periods to answer Vegas tallies, then buried a pass from Ilya Mikheyev at close range 1:18 into overtime to seal Chicago's win. This performance gave Bertuzzi six goals and two assists over his last six outings. The 30-year-old winger is helping the Blackhawks stay competitive without Connor Bedard (upper body) and Frank Nazar (upper body). Bertuzzi is up to 22 goals, 34 points, 86 shots on net, 32 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 39 appearances. He's positioned to take a run at his career-best totals of 30 goals and 62 points from 68 games with the Red Wings in 2021-22.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Little work in overtime win
Soderblom stopped 13 of 15 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Soderblom was lightly tested Sunday, and that appears to be a good way to keep him from giving up too many goals. He allowed tallies to Brandon Saad and Mark Stone, but a Tyler Bertuzzi hat trick carried the Blackhawks to the win. Soderblom now has two wins over his last three outings despite allowed eight goals on 61 shots in that span. For the season, he's at a 5-7-1 record with a 3.87 GAA and an .873 save percentage in 14 contests. Spencer Knight is likely to get the nod Wednesday versus the Blues, but Soderblom should get a start during the upcoming back-to-back that features games Friday at home versus the Capitals and Saturday on the road in Nashville.

Blackhawks' Gavin Hayes: Two goals in AHL loss
Hayes scored twice in AHL Rockford's 5-2 loss to Hershey on Sunday.
Hayes has four goals and three assists over his last five outings in his best stretch of the season. Overall, he's at 14 points in 32 appearances with the IceHogs this year. He had just 15 points in 50 regular-season outings in 2024-25, so this is progress, but it's unlikely to be enough to make a call-up imminent.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Drawing start Sunday
Soderblom is set to patrol the home blue paint versus the Golden Knights on Sunday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.
Soderblom has struggled lately, as he is 1-5-0 with a 5.40 GAA and an .842 save percentage across his last seven outings. Vegas ranks 15th in the NHL with 3.10 goals per game this season and has lost four straight contests (0-3-1) while scoring 12 goals during that stretch.

Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Expected back before Olympics
Bedard (shoulder) is expected back before the Olympic break, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports Sunday.
Bedard is still recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered Dec. 12. He has missed 10 games since then, and a return to the ice isn't imminent but is expected before the Olympic break, which begins Feb. 6. The 20-year-old is in the midst of his best season as a pro with 19 goals and 25 assists in 31 games.

Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Strong effort in shootout win
Knight stopped 32 of 34 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Capitals.
Knight has won his last two starts, but this was one of his best outings of the campaign. Aside from posting an excellent .941 save percentage, he also stopped four of six shootout attempts. Knight has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.97 GAA and an .876 save percentage over his last four starts.

Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Extends scoring streak
Teravainen scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Capitals.
Teravainen has found the back of the net in three straight games, and his last two goals have come on the power play. These have been his first goals since Nov. 30, and Teravainen will likely remain streaky on offense. He holds a bottom-six role in the lineup, limiting his scoring opportunities outside of power-play situations, where he currently occupies a spot on the top unit.

Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Scores with lone shot
Donato scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Capitals.
Donato snapped a four-game goalless run with a first-period tally, scoring with a tip-in just 1:13 into the game. The 29-year-old has recorded points in four of his last seven appearances, but his overall numbers have been a bit disappointing. Even though he has a top-six role in the lineup, Donato has 10 goals and 18 total points across 41 contests.

Blackhawks' Sacha Boisvert: Two goals Saturday
Boisvert scored twice in Boston University's 8-2 win over Simon Fraser University on Saturday.
Boisvert is up to four goals and 13 points through 13 appearances for the Terriers this season. The Blackhawks prospect is providing steady offense in his sophomore year of college. It's unclear if he'll use his full NCAA eligibility or not, though the Blackhawks have enough prospects in the pipeline to be patient with Boisvert.

Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Facing Capitals
Knight will guard the road goal versus the Capitals on Saturday, per CHGO Sports.
Knight is set for his fourth straight start. He's allowed nine goals on 55 shots over his last three games, but he's coming off a 4-3 win over the Stars on Thursday. The Capitals have scored 21 goals over their last six games.

Blackhawks' Dominic Toninato: Returns to minors
Toninato was assigned to AHL Rockford on Saturday.
Toninato didn't end up playing for Chicago during his latest NHL stint. He has one assist in five games with the Blackhawks this season, and he's also recorded five goals and 17 points in 25 appearances with Rockford in 2025-26.

Blackhawks' John Mustard: Earns two points Friday
Mustard scored a goal and added an assist in Providence College's 5-2 win over the University of Alaska-Fairbanks on Friday.
Mustard is now at eight goals and 14 points in 17 appearances for the Friars this season. He had just 20 points in 37 outings in 2024-25, but he's stepped up his game a bit this year. The Blackhawks prospect, selected in the third round in 2024, could be a late depth addition to Chicago's rebuild once he's done with his NCAA career.
