Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Starting Thursday
Woll will be between the home pipes versus Anaheim on Thursday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
Woll will attempt to snap a four-game losing streak. The netminder is 13-11-4 with a pair of shutouts, a 3.09 GAA and a .904 save percentage across 29 appearances this season. The Ducks are generating 3.23 goals per game in 2025-26, 12th in the NHL.

Maple Leafs' Michael Pezzetta: Recalled from AHL
Pezzetta was summoned from AHL Toronto on Thursday.
Pezzetta has spent all season with AHL Toronto, garnering four goals, six assists and showing some feistiness with 52 PIM in 37 appearances. He is expected to see fourth-line minutes alongside Jacob Quillan and Calle Jarnkrok when the Maple Leafs face Anaheim on Thursday.

Maple Leafs' Ryan Tverberg: Three-point game for Marlies
Tverberg scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Toronto's 5-1 win over Syracuse on Wednesday.
Tverberg started the year slowly, but he has earned 14 points over his last 17 contests. Overall, he's at nine goals and 24 points through 50 appearances. The 24-year-old hasn't received a call-up to the Maple Leafs, and he will be a restricted free agent after this season.

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Waiting on first win after break
Woll made 30 saves in a 3-1 loss to Montreal on Tuesday. He allowed two goals.
Both goals went between Woll's pads, which must frustrate the netminder and his coaches. It might be timing or bad stick positioning, or it might be a technical flaw in Woll's technique. All are easily correctable. Woll is 0-4-0 with 15 goals allowed in four starts since the break. You need to weigh alternate options for your squad until he and the Leafs right the proverbial ship.

Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Six-game point streak
Nylander scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-1 loss to Montreal.
Nylander is riding a six-game point streak that includes four goals and two assists. He has found the scoresheet in nine of his last 10 contests (five goals, seven assists). Nylander continues to lead the Maple Leafs with 60 points (22 goals, 38 assists) in just 48 appearances. He sits 11th in the league in points per game.

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Starting in Montreal
Woll will defend the visiting crease Tuesday against the Canadiens, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Woll has dropped three straight outings while allowing 13 goals on 86 shots during that time, and he hasn't been in the win column since Feb. 2. This will be his second start in Montreal this season -- he surrendered four goals on 25 shots in a 5-2 loss Nov. 22. That was his only regular-season loss to the Canadiens in his career, though, as he's 3-1-0 against them overall.

Maple Leafs' Benoit-Olivier Groulx: Promoted from minors
Groulx was recalled from AHL Toronto on Tuesday.
Groulx is not guaranteed to be in the lineup versus the Habs on Tuesday, but he should at least be under consideration. The 26-year-old center hasn't featured in an NHL game since back in 2023-24 when he logged 45 games for the Ducks. Still, Groulx has put up fantastic numbers in the minors, racking up 27 goals and 23 assists in 54 games with the Marlies, certainly making his case for NHL minutes.

Maple Leafs' Nicholas Robertson: First point in eight games
Robertson scored a goal in a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.
It was Robertson's first point in eight games and first goal in nine. He has 13 goals, 14 assists and 102 shots in 60 games this season. Robertson is on pace to perhaps have a career high of 35 points, but that's certainly a long way off from 27 points across 56 regular-season games in 2023-24.

Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Five-game point streak
Maccelli scored a goal Saturday in a 5-2 loss to the Lightning.
He opened the game with a wrist shot that beat Andrei Vasilevskiy early in the first period. It was Maccelli's third goal in as many games, and it extended his point streak to five games. He has three goals and two assists during that span. He has eight points, including five goals, in nine games since the start of February. Maccelli has been productive while skating on the top line with Auston Matthews and William Nylander.

Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Can't recover from bad first frame
Stolarz made 28 saves in a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday. He allowed four goals.
The score was 1-1 in the first when the Lightning turned up the volume in a big way with three goals in a 2:36 span. Stolarz and the Leafs settled down afterward, but the damage had already been done. He has struggled since his return from injury. Stolarz is 1-4-2 in seven starts since Jan. 23, and he has allowed 24 goals in that span. He's a major fantasy risk for managers heading into the postseason.

Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Tending twine Saturday
Stolarz will patrol the home crease against Tampa Bay on Saturday, per Mark Masters of TSN.
Despite stopping 67 of the 72 shots he has faced, Stolarz has gone 0-0-2 in his last two outings because of a pair of shootout losses. He has a 7-8-3 record this campaign with a 3.37 GAA and an .891 save percentage across 20 appearances. Tampa Bay ranks fifth in the league with 3.45 goals per game this season.

Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Ready to rock
Ekman-Larsson (not injury related) will return to the lineup Saturday versus Tampa Bay, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.
Ekman-Larsson was a healthy scratch the last two games, as the Maple Leafs were fielding offers ahead of Friday's trade deadline and didn't want him to suffer an injury. Ekman-Larsson is having his best offensive season since the 2015-16 campaign, when he tallied 21 goals and 55 points for Arizona. Ekman-Larsson has eight goals and 27 assists in 61 games this season.

Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Four-game, four-point streak
Maccelli scored a goal in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers on Thursday.
Maccelli is on a four-game, four-point scoring streak (two goals, two assists). The winger has been in and out of head coach Craig Berube's dog house for the entire season, but play like this will keep him on the ice. Maccelli's ice time shot up to 19:32 against the Rangers. He has 12 goals, 16 assists and 71 shots in 52 games this season.

Maple Leafs' Easton Cowan: Goal in expanded role
Cowan scored a goal Thursday in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers.
Cowan stepped into a top-six gig and performed immediately. He has a modest two-game, two-point streak on the go. Cowan is 22nd on the NHL rookie scoring list with 19 points, including eight goals. But he could climb that list quickly if he sticks with John Tavares and Matthew Knies.

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Allows five goals in loss
Woll made 18 saves in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers on Thursday. He allowed five goals.
The Leafs were solid through 60 minutes before the wheels came off, leaving Woll on his own in the third period. The score ballooned from 2-2 to the final score. The team is starting to trade off players before Friday's deadline, so Woll's job is about to get a bit harder, especially if Oliver Ekman-Larsson is sent out of town. Woll hasn't won since the break (0-3-0) and is 13-10-4 with a 3.13 GAA and .904 save percentage in 28 games.
