Week 10 of the 2024 college football season brought some of the most shocking results we have seen yet, which means that there's plenty of movement in Sunday's AP Top 25 poll. Five ranked teams lost to unranked opponents, including three that occupied the top-15 slots.

Few schools benefitted from results elsewhere like SMU. The Mustangs continued their run of first-year ACC dominance by dismantling No. 23 Pittsburgh 48-25. To reflect their ascent and 5-0 conference record, SMU climbed seven spots all the way to No. 13, breaking into the top 15 for the first time since Week 10 of the 2019 season.

A couple of Big Ten powerhouses, Oregon and Ohio State, solidified their position in the national standings. The Ducks were the unanimous No. 1 team in the country, while the Buckeyes moved up to No. 3 following their win against Penn State

Sticking in the ACC, Clemson slipped all the way to No. 19 following its 33-21 loss to unranked Louisville, which in turn made its return to the AP poll at No. 25. Texas A&M and Iowa State also plummeted after their respective losses to South Carolina (by 24 points) and Texas Tech (one point).
