France went 3-for-5 in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Astros.

France wasn't directly involved in any run-scoring plays, but he was able to extend his hitting streak to four games. He's gone 6-for-18 in that span, but all of those hits have been singles. It's still better than the 0-for-19 slump over seven contests that preceded his recent run of success. France is slashing .252/.340/.350 with one home run, 15 RBI, 18 runs scored, a stolen base and nine doubles through 33 games this season.

Guerrero (wrist) is likely available to pinch hit Saturday against the Pirates, but he may be held out of Sunday's game as well since Toronto has an off day Monday, Mike Wilner of the Toronto Star reports.

This is just the fourth game Guerrero has missed since the start of the 2020 season. It would be a good sign if he at least appears as a pinch hitter this weekend. The Blue Jays play only five games next week, with a two-game series in Philadelphia starting Tuesday.

Guerrero was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Pirates with left wrist discomfort.

Guerrero is hitting .412 with two home runs and six RBI over his last four games, and it's unclear how serious the injury is or when he sustained it. Cavan Biggio is starting at first base in his absence.

Casas will be on the bench Saturday against lefty Bailey Falter and the Phillies, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Casas started against five of the first eight lefties the Red Sox faced this year, but he's now been on the bench against each of the last five. He's failed to make much of an impact at the plate at the start of his first full season with a .156/.291/.289 slash line, though a .186 BABIP deserves at least some of the blame for that. Justin Turner will be the first baseman Saturday, with Rob Refsnyder taking Turner's usual spot at designated hitter.

Pratto will sit Saturday against the Athletics.

Pratto started seven consecutive games after his late-April call-up, hitting .407 but striking out 32.3 percent of the time. His run of starts did include one against a lefty (Kyle Muller on Friday), but he'll hit the bench Saturday against southpaw Ken Waldichuk.

Kirilloff will remain on the bench Saturday against the Guardians, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Kirilloff was recalled Friday but has spent his first two days since his return on the bench. Saturday's off day is an expected one, however, as it comes against lefty Logan Allen. Willi Castro starts in left field.

Pratto went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Friday's 12-8 loss to the Athletics.

Pratto got the Royals on the board with his fourth-inning homer. He's produced four multi-hit efforts in the last week since his recall from Triple-A Omaha. The strong hitting of late has him up to a .353/.421/.471 slash line with a long balls, four RBI, five runs scored and a double through 38 plate appearances this season.

Noda went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored, three RBI and two walks during Friday's victory over Kansas City.

Noda was all over the stat sheet Friday. He scored in the third, fourth and eighth innings while also driving in three runs, including his two-run double in the fifth frame. He was stuck in an 0-for-12 skid prior to Friday's big performance and improved his slash line to .247/.408/.442 in the process. It was Noda's second career three-hit game.

Kirilloff was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Kirilloff performed well over his 50 at-bats with the Saints with a .300 average, 1.006 OPS and four homers. The former top prospect has shown flashes of brilliance in his 104 games with the Twins prior to 2023, but his .251/.295/.398 slash over 359 at-bats shows that the brilliance has only been in spurts. He'll get a chance to show he can apply his minor-league success now that he's back with Minnesota.

O'Hearn was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

O'Hearn will head back to Triple-A after he spent a little over three weeks with the Orioles, going 5-for-19 with a double, six RBI and a run scored while appearing in nine games. With Luis Torrens being acquired from the Cubs on Wednesday, O'Hearn becomes the odd man out on the big-league roster.
