Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: June swoon continues
Abreu went 0-for-3 and was hit by a pitch in Friday's 9-3 loss to Seattle.
Abreu, one of the game's most consistent offensive forces, has struggled during the month of June, hitting just .173 with seven RBI over 20 games. That has led manager Tony La Russa to wonder if the slugger is healthy, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com. "There's 'hurt' and 'sore,' you know? It sure seems to me he's dealing with some pain issues that he wants to play through," La Russa said of Abreu. "We're going to talk to him about it. There's still three-plus months to go." The manager made clear he was using "observational analytics" when talking about Abreu, so nothing has been decided as of yet.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Crushes 25th homer
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Orioles.
He ripped a line drive to center field off Matt Harvey in the third inning for his 25th homer of the year -- a ball hit so hard, it beat Cedric Mullins to the wall even though the Baltimore center fielder raced back thinking he had a chance to make a play on it. Guerrero reclaimed the major-league home run lead with the blast, and he continues to torment opposition pitchers with a .340 batting average and 1.116 OPS through 74 games.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: On base three times Friday
Mountcastle went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Blue Jays.
He was a key part of Baltimore's four-run rally in the eighth inning and trotted home with the tying run on an Austin Hays double. Mountcastle continues to feast on Toronto pitching, going 9-for-20 (.450) in five games against the AL East rivals this year with three walks, three homers, four RBI and five runs.

Indians' Josh Naylor: Belts seventh homer
Naylor went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 8-7 loss to Minnesota.
Naylor made things interesting when he took Minnesota reliever Hansel Robles deep in the ninth inning, but Cleveland couldn't tie the game. The 24-year-old Naylor has gone 7-for-18 (.389) with two home runs and four RBI in his last five games. He's slashing .255/.304/.403 across 247 plate appearances in a near-everyday role this season.

Kirilloff went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 8-7 win over Cleveland.

Kirilloff is slashing .260/.303/.442 with six home runs, 26 RBI, 16 runs scored and a stolen base across 165 plate appearances. He seems to be manager Rocco Baldelli's preferred option at first base versus right-handed pitchers, while Miguel Sano is more likely to draw in against southpaws.

Rangers' Nate Lowe: Knocks in pair in win
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-4 win over Kansas City.

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Stuck in cold stretch
Dalbec went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts and was removed for a pinch hitter in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Rays.
Dalbec appeared to catch fire during the middle of June, but he has since slid back. Over the last three games, he's hitless in 11 plate appearances with nine strikeouts.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Reaches base four times
Olson went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two walks Thursday against the Rangers.
Olson continued his excellent form at the plate, as he now has at least one hit in 19 of his last 22 games. In that span, he's delivered seven home runs, 21 RBI and 20 runs scored all while hitting .404. While Olson won't likely be able to maintain that form for the rest of the season, he has a tremendous 162 wRC+ through 300 plate appearances.

Guerrero stayed red hot atop the MLB home run leaderboard as he cranked his 24th of the season, this time a 422-shot against Dean Kremer in the second inning. The 22-year-old has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games as he continues to lead the Blue Jays in pretty much every batting category, including hits (89), on-base percentage (.441), RBI (61) and average (.338).
