Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Average climbing

Dalbec went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Royals' Carlos Santana: Drives in three

Santana went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBI in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

The Royals were routed in the contest, but Santana made sure the team's offense wasn't to blame. The veteran plated a pair of runs with a double in the third inning and bashed a solo homer in the fifth. After a slow start to the campaign, Santana has been coming on strong with four straight two-hit games. Over that span, he has gone 8-for-15 with four extra-base hits and four RBI.

  • Alex Kirilloff LF | MIN

Twins' Alex Kirilloff: Won't be recalled on road trip

Kirilloff will not be recalled from the alternate training site during the remainder of Minnesota's road trip, which runs through Wednesday in Oakland, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Max Kepler was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday, but the team didn't want to have players like Kirilloff take a commercial flight to the West Coast during the pandemic. This means Kirilloff will have to wait until at least Friday's home game against the Pirates to rejoin the big club.
