Bryant (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Bryant will play in all three games for Albuquerque over the weekend before being re-evaluated by team doctors. In his last 10 games prior to being placed on the injured list June 6 due to a left rib contusion and oblique strain, Bryant had gone 9-for-35 with one home run and four RBI, which actually brought his season slash line up to .186/.307/.279.

Gallo (hamstring) could begin a running program next week, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Gallo resumed baseball activities earlier this month, but running will be the big test as he comes back from a strained left hamstring that has sidelined him since June 11. He will require a rehab assignment before returning and wouldn't seem to be guaranteed anything in regard to playing time upon his activation.

Arraez (thumb) will DH and bat leadoff for Friday's game against the Guardians.

Arraez has been nursing a jammed left thumb and opted to sit out the All-Star Game to let the injury heal. However, the issue won't require him to miss any time for the Padres, and he'll fill his regular leadoff spot during Friday's series opener against Cleveland. The 27-year-old is slashing .310/.342/.378 across 416 plate appearances this season.

Arraez will attend All-Star festivities in Texas but won't play for the National League in Tuesday's game due to a jammed left thumb, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Arraez first hurt the thumb while sliding into third base June 25. He has played in all but two of San Diego's games since then, most recently sitting out Sunday's 6-3 loss to Atlanta. While Arraez has mostly been able to remain in the lineup despite the injury, he admitted that the thumb hurts "a lot" when he swings and catches the ball. The issue probably won't be anything that causes him to miss much, if any, additional time in games that count, but he'll use the All-Star break to rest the jammed thumb rather than risking further injury in the exhibition contest.

Alonso went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's loss to the Rockies.

He got the Mets on the board in the fourth inning by crushing a German Marquez two-seamer deep to left field. Alonso snapped an 11-game homer drought with the blast, and he heads into the All-Star break -- and an appearance in the Home Run Derby -- slashing .240/.319/.454 with 19 homers and 51 RBI in 95 contests.

Toglia went 3-for-4 with three solo home runs during Sunday's 8-5 win over the Mets.

Toglia notched his first career multi-homer game Sunday, launching a solo homer in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings. The 25-year-old is batting .197 with 16 home runs across 50 games this season, but he's been significantly better since becoming a near-everyday player for Colorado at the start of June. In 36 games since then, he's batting .230 with 26 RBI, 20 runs and 12 homers.

Yepez went 2-for-3 with a walk, one stolen base, one RBI and one run scored in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Brewers.

Yepez has hit safely in all 10 of his major-league games this season, and this was his third straight multi-hit effort. He's also shown modest power with six doubles, though he's yet to hit a home run. The 26-year-old has added three RBI and six runs scored over 43 plate appearances, and his steal Sunday was the first of his major-league career. Until Joey Gallo (hamstring) returns from the IL, Yepez is likely to maintain a firm grip on a starting job at first base.

Arraez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

After rapping out three hits in Saturday's 4-0 win to break out of a 1-for-15 funk over his previous four starts, Arraez will head to the bench for the series finale and the final game before the All-Star break. Jurickson Profar will take over as the Padres' leadoff hitter in place of Arraez, who had started in each of the Friars' last 13 contests.

Hoskins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

He'll get a breather for the series finale after starting at first base in the first two games against Washington while going 1-for-8 with a double, two RBI and a run. Jake Bauers will spell Hoskins at first base Sunday.

Wisdom went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Wisdom entered the game as a defensive replacement in the fifth inning and later hit his fourth home run of the year in the ninth. The 32-year-old remains a clear bench player for the Cubs, with the likes of Michael Busch and Christopher Morel ahead of him at the corner infield spots, so Wisdom is unlikely to have a ton of fantasy value the rest of the way unless any regulars get hurt.
