Wade (hamstring) will take batting practice Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Wade resumed baseball activities over the weekend and is almost ready to do some hitting on the field. He's been on the shelf since late May with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. While Wade looks to be trending in a positive direction, the real test for him will be when he does some running, and it's not clear when he'll be cleared for that.

Montero is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Even with Kris Bryant (ribs), Sean Bouchard (ankle) and Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) recently joining Nolan Jones (knee) and Jordan Beck (hand) on the injured list, Montero still hasn't been able to maintain a regular spot in the Colorado lineup. He'll take a seat for the second day in a row, with his move to the bench coming after he had gotten off to a 3-for-27 start to June while striking out at a 39.3 percent clip. Recent Triple-A Albuquerque call-up Michael Toglia sported a hot bat during the Rockies' four-game weekend series split with the Cardinals and looks to have unseated Montero as the Rockies' preferred option at first base for the time being.

Toglia will start at first base and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Twins, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Since getting recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque while Kris Bryant (ribs) and Sean Bouchard (foot) were simultaneously placed on the injured list, Toglia has started in each of Colorado's ensuing five games. After going 4-for-13 with a triple, a walk, a stolen base, four RBI and a run while making three starts in right field and one at first base during the Rockies' weekend series in St. Louis, Toglia will stay in the lineup at the latter position Monday while Elehuris Montero heads to the bench. Toglia looks poised to retain an everyday role for Colorado so long as he continues to produce at the plate.

Joe went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI on Sunday against the Twins.

Joe delivered his lone hit of the game in the fifth inning to give the Pirates a brief lead. He has five RBI and seven runs scored across his last 10 games, though that production has primarily come due to timely hitting as he is just 7-for-38 overall in that span. Joe remains a near everyday player for Pittsburgh, playing primarily in right field against right-handed pitching while shifting to first base against lefties.

Tellez went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk Sunday against the Twins.

Tellez has had a miserable start to his tenure in Pittsburgh, though he's begun to turn things around in his last five starts. He has four multi-hit games in that stretch, hitting .529 with seven RBI and three runs scored. Tellez should remain Pittsburgh's primary first baseman against right-handed pitching.

Montero is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at St. Louis, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Montero started the previous six games but will take a seat Sunday after going 3-for-23 with nine strikeouts during that span. Michael Toglia will start at first base and bat seventh in the series finale versus the Cardinals.

Cincinnati manager David Bell said Saturday that Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) visited a specialist, who advised five days of additional rest, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Encarnacion-Strand had met with team doctors June 5 and was given the green light to take the next step in his rehab progression, but the injured first baseman opted for a second opinion. Bell is hopeful Encarnacion-Strand can resume his progression following the current rest period and begin swinging a bat "in the next couple of weeks." This development pushes out a potential return at least another two weeks.

Cronenworth went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, an RBI single and an additional run scored in Saturday's 13-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Cronenworth's fourth-inning blast turned the game into a rout, and he tacked on one more RBI in the fifth. The infielder has hit well lately, going 10-for-38 (.263) with nine RBI and four extra-base hits over his last nine games, though his homer Saturday was his first since May 19. On the year, he's slashing .261/.322/.446 with nine homers, 44 RBI, 27 runs scored, 15 doubles, two triples and one stolen base over 64 contests.

Tellez went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Twins.

The 29-year-old slugger took Simeon Woods Richardson deep in the seventh inning to produce the game's first run, then was at the heart of a three-run rally in the eighth. Tellez hadn't homered since March 31, and Saturday's blast snapped a 48-game power drought in which he slashed just .197/.262/.235 with five doubles. He is showing signs of life at the plate, however, batting .391 (9-for-23) over his last seven games with seven of his 15 RBI on the season.

Harper went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Mets.

After doubling in the first inning, Harper got the Phillies on the board in the fourth with a solo shot off Sean Manaea, his 15th homer this year. Harper had been slumping a bit prior to the Phillies' trip to London -- he'd gone 7-for-36 (.194) with just one home run in his previous 10 contests. Overall, the 31-year-old Harper is slashing .276/.384/.535 on the year with 45 RBI and 36 runs scored across 258 plate appearances.
