Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Clobbers another homer
Walker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's victory over the Rockies.
Walker took starter Ty Blach yard in the third inning to bring Tommy Pham around to score and get the Diamondbacks on the board. The long ball was Walker's 26th of the season and his fourth of the last eight games. During that stretch, Walker's 12-for-32 (.375) with 10 RBI and five runs scored.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Brewers' Carlos Santana: Goes yard again
Santana went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Dodgers.
Santana's blast was one of just two hits for the Brewers in the contest. It was his second game in a row with a homer, though he's still hitting a meager .176 (9-for-51) in August. The first baseman is at a .226/.304/.405 slash line with 16 long balls, 60 RBI, 51 runs scored, six stolen bases and 25 doubles through 109 contests between the Brewers and the Pirates, but his Milwaukee stint has been largely unimpressive. He's also posted a 2:10 BB:K over 15 games with his new team, an unusually poor walk rate for the well-disciplined batter.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Two-run homer in return
Flores (ear) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Rays.
Flores was out Monday with an ear infection, but it turned out to be a short absence for the infielder. He'd cooled off a bit prior to sitting out a game, going 1-for-12 across his last four contests, though he's still been one of the Giants' better hitters in recent weeks. Flores is up to a .300/.356/.542 slash line with 16 homers, 41 RBI, 39 runs scored and 19 doubles through 88 games this season. If he continues to hold down a starting role, he could make a push for his first 20-homer season.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | TEX
Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: On assignment through LAD series
Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Tuesday that Tellez (finger) will remain on his rehab assignment through at least the end of Milwaukee's series against the Dodgers, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Counsell said the Brewers are hoping to get Tellez's bat going in the minors before bringing him back to the big-league squad. He's just 2-for-18 through five games with Triple-A Nashville and has been a liability at the plate (.410 OPS) for Milwaukee since belting his last home run May 22.

Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL
Padres' Garrett Cooper: Belts first homer as Padre
Cooper went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Orioles on Monday.
Cooper accounted for San Diego's only run of the contest with his 439-foot solo shot to center field in the sixth inning. It was his first long ball and first RBI since joining the Padres on Aug. 1. Cooper had hit 13 homers for Miami prior to the trade but has had a rough time since moving to the West Coast, slashing .188/.278/.438 over seven contests.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Belts 25th long ball
Walker went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Monday's loss to the Rockies.
Walker accounted for two of Arizona's five hits in the loss, knocking a run-scoring double in the first inning and a two-run homer to right field in the sixth. He finished with his fourth multi-hit effort over his past seven games, a stretch during which he's batting .393 (11-for-28) with three homers, eight RBI and a stolen base. Walker is up to 25 home runs on the season, marking the third time in his career he has achieved that feat.

Paul Goldschmidt 1B | NYY
Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Fills box score in win
Goldschmidt went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run, three walks, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Monday's 7-5 win over the Athletics.
It was a little bit of everything for Goldschmidt as he ended a 15-game homer drought. In that span, he hit just .200 with two doubles and four RBI. The first baseman's slump has dropped him down to a .277/.366/.454 slash line on the year, and he's added 19 homers, 61 RBI, 67 runs scored and 10 stolen bases through 115 games.
