Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 10-6 win over the Diamondbacks.

Goldschmidt has gone 12-for-42 (.286) over 10 contests since the All-Star break. Monday was his fifth multi-hit effort in that span. The first baseman's recent work is right in line with his season numbers, aside from a moderate dip in power. He's at a .285/.371/.473 slash line with 17 homers, 53 RBI, 63 runs scored and eight stolen bases over 97 contests this season.

Santana went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double, four RBI and a walk in Monday's 8-4 win over the Padres.

Santana hit two-run blasts in the third and fifth innings, ending his 18-game power drought. He'd gone just 10-for-63 (.159) in July prior to this breakout effort. Santana is up to 11 homers, 52 RBI, 43 runs scored, 25 doubles and six stolen bases through 92 contests, and his .237/.322/.408 slash line is his best since 2019.

Flores went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Tigers.

Flores was responsible for the Giants' lone run Monday with a solo home run off Jose Cisnero in the sixth inning, cutting the deficit to 3-1. The 31-year-old Flores has now hit five homers in his last seven games -- he's gone 10-for-23 (.435) with a 1.217 OPS in that span. With his recent hot streak, Flores has boosted his slash line to an impressive .295/.353/.539 with 13 homers, 32 RBI and 30 runs scored through 241 plate appearances this season.

Rockies manager Bud Black said Monday that Cron (back) is "getting closer" to a return to the lineup, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Cron is missing a third straight start Monday because of lower-back tightness, but he was able to take some swings in the batting cage, run some light sprints and play catch pregame. The first baseman is widely expected to be on the trade block this week, so the Rockies no doubt want to see him back and healthy as he auditions for contenders.

Cron (back) is not in the starting lineup Monday versus the Nationals.

Cron will miss a third game in a row as he continues to nurse lower-back tightness. Michael Toglia will draw the start at first base and bat seventh in the series opener with Washington.

Bohm is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Since homering twice and recording six RBI on July 1 versus Washington, Bohm has failed to leave the yard in his subsequent 17 games and has plated only seven runs during that stretch. Phillies manager Rob Thomson will give Bohm a chance to hit the reset button Monday, paving the way for Josh Harrison to pick up a start at third base.

Tellez (forearm) said that he'll have 17 stitches removed from his fractured ring finger Tuesday, and he expects to resume swinging a bat as soon as Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Tellez was initially placed on the 10-day injured list July 5 with right forearm inflammation, but he appeared on pace to get activated at some point this past week before he fractured his ring finger while shagging a fly ball July 15. Now one week into an expected 3-to-4-week recovery, Tellez looks to be progressing as anticipated but still has a few more hurdles to clear before his return can be considered imminent. Owen Miller will likely continue to serve as the Brewers' primary first baseman until Tellez is back in the fold.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Cubs, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Goldschmidt has a .586 OPS over his past five games and will take a seat Sunday after starting the past 11 contests. Alec Burleson will step in at first base and bat fifth.

Cooper was scratched from the Sunday's lineup against Colorado due to an illness, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Cooper was penciled in as Miami's designated hitter Sunday but will instead sit out due to an ailment. The 32-year-old will have Monday's team off day to rest up before the Marlins open a two-game set Tuesday against Tampa Bay.

Votto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Votto looks to be getting a routine day off for the series finale, which begins at 1:40 p.m. ET. The 39-year-old had started in each of the Reds' last 12 games while hitting .150 with three home runs and nine RBI.
