Triple-A Nashville reinstated Hiura (knee) from its 7-day injured list Wednesday, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.

Hiura will rejoin Nashville after he recently completed a three-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, where he went 4-for-10 with a double and a walk. The 26-year-old had been on the shelf at Triple-A since mid-May due to a PCL injury.

Wade is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday after tweaking his right side in batting practice prior to Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Padres, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Wade was scratched from the lineup ahead of the contest after reporting his injury to the coaching staff. He'll most likely end up sitting out Wednesday's matchup with the Padres as well while the Giants evaluate the results of his MRI, but Wade can be viewed as day-to-day until an updated diagnosis is provided by the team.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with one RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Nationals.

Goldschmidt has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, and he has six multi-hit efforts in that span while batting .349 (15-for-43). The first baseman's steal was his eighth of the season, surpassing his total of seven for all of 2022. He's slashing .291/.382/.500 with 13 homers, 38 RBI, 48 runs scored and 20 doubles over 72 contests -- numbers in line with his 2021 production, though they look worse compared to his 2022 MVP season.

Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

It was Olson's 21st homer of the year, tying him for third most in the league, and his fourth in nine games. He's gone 10-for-37 (.270) with a .974 OPS in that span. It's been another strong season for the 29-year-old Olson -- he's slashing .327/.403/.558 with 52 RBI and 52 runs scored across 329 plate appearances.

Santana is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

With the Pirates wrapping up their series with the Cubs with a day game, manager Derek Shelton likely viewed it as an ideal time to give Santana a breather. The 37-year-old had started in each of Pittsburgh's last 12 games, producing a .680 OPS during that stretch. Connor Joe will fill in for Santana at first base and serve as Pittsburgh's cleanup hitter.

Wade was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Padres due to right side tightness, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Wade is slashing a very impressive .308/.431/.519 during the month of June, but side problems will cause him to miss Tuesday's game. The Giants will take a closer look at Wade to determine the severity of his injury, but he should be considered day-to-day for now.

It's unclear at the moment why Wade was taken out of Tuesday's lineup, but the Giants will likely offer an explanation relatively soon. In the meantime, David Villar will enter to play first base in Wade's place.

Votto (shoulder/biceps) went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a walk in Monday's 5-4 win over the Rockies.

Votto made his season debut Monday after multiple surgeries and wasted no time making an impact, drilling a solo shot in the fifth inning and later adding a two-run single. He struggled with a .173/.340/.333 slash line in 22 rehab games with Triple-A Louisville prior to his MLB return. Between that, his .689 OPS in 2022 and the Reds suddenly looking like a playoff contender, it's unclear what Votto's role will be in the immediate future.

Votto (shoulder/biceps) was activated from the 60-day injured list Monday and will start at first base and bat sixth in the Reds' series opener versus the Rockies, Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Votto had some starts and stops as he worked his way back from left shoulder and biceps surgery, but he said Monday that he feels "much more like myself." The 39-year-old slashed .162/.385/.351 with two home runs and an 11:13 K:BB over 12 games during his most recent rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville. Since he's returning from a long-term absence, Votto will likely receive plenty of days off in the early going as the Reds ease him back into the mix while also juggle a batting order which is suddenly teeming with appealing options. Fantasy managers in shallower leagues should take a wait-and-see approach before adding Votto off the waiver wire.

Hall (thumb) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.

Hall will return to the 40-man roster for the first time since he suffered a torn ligament in his right thumb in early April. The 27-year-old went 13-for-51 with six extra-base hits, including two homers, and 10 RBI over 13 games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley during his rehab assignment and he'll look to remain hot moving forward. Over 42 games with the Phillies in 2022, Hall produced a .250 average with nine homers, 16 RBI and 19 runs scored. With Bryce Harper holding down the designated hitter role in 2023, if Hall were to get called up, he'd likely operate in a platoon with Kody Clemens at first base. In a corresponding move, Dalton Guthrie was designated for assignment Monday.
